Blizzardkit padded up to Graykit. "Hey Blackkit.. oh, I'm sorry, Graykit!" he began laughing.

Ashamed, Graykit ran into the caverns ignoring his mother as she asked what he was doing. It's not fair! No one made fun of Minnowkit's or Blizzardkit's names but I feel like everyone's laughing at me! Through the blackness he saw some dusty gray rock and he began smashing into it. C'mon fur, turn gray like Minnowkit's! His fur was now coated with rock grains. Whimpering softly, he curled up into a ball and tried to forget the hatred that had come from his brother.

"Why did you do that?" hissed Shaleshard.
"Sorry, mom," mewled Blizzardkit. "I didn't mean to hurt his feelings... it's just I thought it was funny...."
"Well do you think losing your little brother again is funny?" Shaleshard snapped. She sighed. "I'll go look for him."

"That's fine with me." mewed Batstar. "Now let me rest. I don't want Robincrest and Bushtail thinking OasisClan cats don't sleep!"

"THANK YOU!" Venompaw mewed. "And sleep well."

Graykit felt annoyed with himself. I should be talking with the warriors instead of cowering down here like a kittypet. Crawling out of the tunnel, he saw the meeting had ended. Regret hissed at him like snakes. I missed being congratulated! Great, this won't happen again for five moons! He saw Vipertail. "Hey." he meowed trying to sound cool. "What do you think about me being a Clan cat?" he then waited for his praise...

Vipertail saw the little black kit run into the cave. I'll follow him, she thought. When she caught up she asked "Why are you so upset, little one?" She thought rogues joining clans was wrong, she wasn't going to take out her thoughts on this harmless kit.

Graykit was acting cool and didn't want the Clan to think he was whining about his name. I should feel lucky, not upset! "Oh, nothing," he meowed. "Just you know, exploring,"

Venompaw padded out of Batstar's den and went to the fresh-kill-pile. She saw how it was growing small so she decided to go hunting. "Hey Shale would you like to come hunting with me?"

"Shaleshard." she corrected. "I would but I need to find Ph– Graykit. Have you seen him?"

"Wow right Shaleshard sorry. Yeah her went through that tunnel." Venompaw mewed pointing her muzzle to the farthest tunnel. "Though Vipertail went after him. He will be perfectly fine with her. does anyone want to go hunting with me?" Venompaw asked allowed.

Shaleshard purred, "Thanks, I'd hunt but I'm a queen so I'm busy with my kits... but you could ask Vipertail or Honeypaw."
