After placing the bunny into the freshkill-pile that "drenched" scent came back, eyes began to worry "oh starclan what is it now-". This time the scent was stronger so he couldn't brush it away he then decided to look for swiftstar.
And so he did.
The tom then noticed the other tom he looked just like him, he scurried after swiftstar.
"i-i scent fogtail" He blurted out. He must be crazy, he has been told that his brother was dead

The shecat turned to brackenheart as he spoke to her, she mewed in reply "i guess... i heard that all we do is walk around our territory and check if there are any invaders incoming, but i heard its less likely for another clancat to be found". Lakepaw in truth was oblivious about rouges, she hasn't have much clue on what they are and especially how much that are possibly near camp.

Silvermist stifled a giggle as she watched Sparrowfall tumble into the river. He stomped out of the water, drenched. She smiled then walked over to him and gave his fur a few thorough licks. She had almost forgotten that his apprentice stood by her side. Silvermist was suddenly too lulled by his presence, captivated by the way the sun glinted off his eyes. Then, as the moment passed, she gave herself a shake. "Are you alright?" She asked, politely, "The water must be freezing!" She exclaimed, gazing back to the river!
Silvermist nudged Silverpaw, smirking playfully! They wouldn't let him off this one so easily!

☞BIRCHPAW slipped through the entrance of the camp, trailing after the rest of the patrol as her blue eyes glittered in anticipation. Her gaze flicked back and forth, fluffy gray pelt shifting and billowing as the wind battered them. For once, she was grateful for the thick hair that she'd inherited from her mother. The young she-cat had to hold back from spitting at the idea of her mother, instead releasing a soft growl as her ears fell flat against her head. Birchpaw quickly recovered and turned her attention to the patrol, catching the tail end of Brackenheart and Lakepaw's conversation. Rolling her bright eyes at the new apprentice's ignorance and blatant disregard for the importance of border patrol, the pretty little she cat decided to turn her attention elsewhere. Suddenly, their small band came to an abrupt halt and her ears pricked up, jaws parted as the scents of the world around her washed over her tongue. Birchpaw glanced over her shoulder, slightly startled by the appearance of Smokepaw, who hadn't been a part of their patrol initially.

☞HAWKFROST padded easily out into the world that surrounded the sanctuary that was their camp, making his way towards the front of the patrol. He made sure the keep a respectful distance between himself, Roseflight, and Swiftstar, noting their rank over him. The ginger tom took in his surroundings, alert yet relaxed. Glancing over at his small apprentice, his eyes darkened as he noted the other tom speaking words of encouragement to her. The large tom took deliberate steps towards his apprentice, Gauging her thoughts on the importance of border patrol. Hawkfrost swallowed a hiss at her ignorance, able to recognize that she wouldn't necessarily know any better at this point. That's why she had been assigned to him. Making his way to Lakepaw's side, he towered over her, glancing down at the little she-cat with his intense, smoldering green eyes. "Lakepaw, today I'm going to teach you about how crucial this exercise is for our clan." His voice rumbled and he paused, shooting a glare at Brackenheart before continuing. "Our clan possesses a certain amount of land which we have deemed our territory. By participating in these border patrols, we are remarking our territory and protecting it from threats made by rogues, among other things. This is our way of strengthening our control, and making sure no one enters into our territory without permission. Any-cat that does come without permission poses a threat to us, as they could be stealing our valuable prey or attacking us." Hawkfrost deemed that an appropriate explanation and fell silent, his ears swiveling as he noted the approach of Smokepaw quickly followed by the Yowl of Swiftstar.

Lakepaw looked at birchpaw and hawkfrost and noticed what she just said was ignorant. She lowered her ears in shame but looked up at hawkfrost as he spoke to her. She nodded in understanding, she should've known all along. In her kit days, she would watch the clan cats go on with their days while dazed. She flicked her ears once more as she grew silent and watched. There was tension growing between Hawkfrost and BrackenHeart as she noted through their expressions, then she looked at birchpaw, she was calmed at first and then-.

She abruptly stopped observing the cats around her as she saw smokepaw scurry by in such hurry. What is happenin-
She then looked at the yowl from swiftstar and the strange cat. So the foul scent was from him?
She listened as Smokepaw interrupted in hurry, the name left with curios but bitter aftertaste.
...Fogtail? isn't he smokepaw's brother?

He soonly after rudely interrupting Swiftstar dipped down his head. He tried so hard to not look at the other Tom in front of them his eyesight became slightly blurred as he picked up his head and looked behind him staring at his clan-mates. "Apologies for interrupting your patrol..." He mumbled and decided to return back to camp but he paused.

dawnpaw wandered around clan territory, boredly pawing at a leaf in front of her. and although she would

"Luckywish?" He yawned, rubbing a paw over his face. He knew he should join a patrol or go hunting but he thought it best to check up on her.

Echosong stretched in her nest, blinking the sleep from her eyes. The light was already filtering in through the entrance into the den, letting her know that it was about time to get up and do some actual work. With her eyes still half-closed, she headed for the entrance, nearly barreling into Robincall on the way. "Sorry!" she meowed, suddenly wide awake, her pelt ruffled as she quickly backed up. "Didn't mean to interrupt." Echosong added, noticing that he had been talking to Luckywish.
