"Calm yourselves!" Tolvia barked into the darkness, tilting her head so that she may focus on the seemingly aggressive animals that were threatening herself and her 'pup'. "We mean no harm; Loka did not mean to disturb you." She padded forward, Loka rising and following on her flank. Tolvia had misjudged the distance, and found herself standing less than half a foot away from a male dog ( Burnt. ) In panic, she rose onto her hindlegs and whirled backward, her movements swift. Loka thought that his 'mother' had been attacked, and therefor snarled and barked rapidly at Burnt. Though, he could not be fearsome, for his body language was all wrong. His tail was wagging and his fur was not raised, also his ears were back and he was trembling visibly. A sign of nervous and excited energy -- also giving away the fact that he did not mean harm, at all.

Godric felt his hackles lie flat again, and his growls die in his throat. It wasn't the human dog catcher that had walked out, but another German shepherd and what looked to be a young male akita. They both showed no signs of aggression, though the akita was barking madly at them. "Be quiet, please," he said calmly but firmly to the younger dog. "Sorry," he added to the female shepherd, "We just had a run-in with the dog catcher. We thought he might be you." He nodded at Burnt to indicate the "we" part.
