"I can teach you two some basic hunting." Echotail meowed to Stormpaw and Hurricanepaw.

( by the way, it seems that Stormpaw and Hurricane paw need mentors. Does anyone want to be their mentor?)

Blazestar- Female- Leader
Blazestar stretched. The camp was nearly silent now, mostly because everyone had gone out to hunt by themselves. She went over to grab a piece of prey from the fresh-kill pile, and started chewing on a stringy squirrel.
After telling the other cats that she was going out on a solitary border patrol, Blazestar darted out of the camp.

The fresh air chilled her nose, and yummy prey flooded into her senses.
"Don't get distracted." Blazestar chided herself. She trotted past the abandoned Twoleg shed, and found herself at the edge of the border.
"Our old home." She meowed as she saw a majestic mountain that seemed to reach the highest clouds in the sky.

"That'd be great!" Stormpaw meowed out to Echotail. She swished her tail around herself, and smiled.

Hurricanepaw heard the suggestion, and mewed, "It'll be nice, if you could..."

"Ok." meowed Echotail. "First, you've gotta stalk the prey. Like this." She meowed and demonstrated. "Keep your tail low to the ground, but don't make it brushing against the grass, or else your prey will hear the rustle of the grass."
"Now try it!" She meowed to Stormpaw.
