Dapplepool thought. “ Oh, and once you are finished, you can go horse around with your mate, Wolfpaw “ She teased, With a gleam of amusement in her eye. Of course, she knew Wolfpaw and Tigerpaw were just friends, but Dapplepool loved teasing cats, especially for their reaction.

Dovetail was sat outside of the nursery, eyes wide as she watched Spiderkit potter around, curious about everything. 'Stay safe!' She'd told him, repeatedly, but the kit had just rolled his eyes and nodded. 'I'm nearly an apprentice!' he'd mewed, puffing his chest out. 'I'll be fine!' Still, she couldn't help but worry. Her eyes strayed across to Striketail, sitting alone.

Spiderkit eventually got tired of bounding around, especially as only his mother was paying attention to him! What was the point of being out if he didn't get to mess with the warriors? Then, he spotted Striketail who'd watched him for a brief moment. He padded over to the warrior. 'Whatcha doing?' Spiderkit asked.

Dovetail's paws shuffled as she watched Spiderkit change course. She knew she shouldn't be watching his every move, but...

Spiderkit blinked for a second, as the warrior jumped at his appearance. Then, with a dramatic sigh, he flopped onto his side. 'I'm not doing anything either. There's nothing to do in camp.'

Dovetail started as Spiderkit flopped down, fur bristling before she realized that he wasn't hurt.

Dovetail yawned - Spiderkit was in the corner of her eye, but the queen stood up and padded to the prey-pile. She hadn't eaten that day, instead keeping a close eye on her kit. Dovetail glanced back at the nursery - Poppystep might like something to eat.
