Princess Russet arched her back and yawned, padding forward to admire one of her many tapestries, this one filled with tropical birds.

Queen Hibiscus pushed aside the hanging vine entrance of her sleeping quarters and surveyed her tribe proudly. She plucked a mango off a nearby tree and bit into the juicy fruit.

Snowbird woke up as soon as the sun's rays peaked over the icecaps. She curled her tail towards her face to look at herself through it's glittery, reflective surface. Looking good as usual. She swooped out of her window and twirled around, brushing past the low lying clouds. She spotted movement along the gray white crags and zeroed in on a young mountain goat. She tucked her wings into a dive, then once close enough, pulled back reaching out her talons and snatched up her prey, giving it a killing squeeze. Snowbird smiled, feeling smug, she learned this technique from watching snowy owls.

Zircon raised his eyebrows "Wow! What do they think their armor will protect-"
He backed away as a young dragon skipped up to the dragon he was talking to. This dragon was way to energetic. "Im Zircon. Nice meeting you." He nodded to the dragon with the scavenger, and bounded off.

Murk - Female Seawing/Nightwing - Early morning - Tags: Zircon, Starlight

Murk jumped a little as a dragon hopped up to her, thinking loud thoughts. She rubbed her head a bit, a little unprepared. "Umnnm, I am part Seawing, part Nightwing, why do you ask?" Realizing that they might be part nightwing, she thought Are you a mind reader? Seeing Zircon start to hurry away, she was about to call them back, but decided against it. I guess we both can agree this dragon has a lot of energy.

Zircon plucked a cacti fruit off of a plant next to his den and picked off the spines as he watched the two dragons talk from a distance. He could make out a few words here and there. Hmmm, I wonder if I could use these spines to make weapons? Not that I would need any or anything.

Princess Water decided to head back to the palace. She spotted another Icewing (Snowbird) "Why hello there" She made a quite pleasant grin to her.

She looked at Murk, "Wow, cool! I am a Seawing and Nightwing mix too! Sorry if i seem... hyper?" Said Starlight. She made a big smile, Can she tell what I am thinking? Is she a minder reader? Or is that dragon over there? hmm...She Followed Zircon quietly. "Hi there, who are you? and by the looks of you I can see your a Rainwing mixed with a Nightwing." Said Starlight. Starlight had a small satchel and there were scrolls in it kinda of sticking out sense there were so many.

Murk - Female Seawing/Nightwing - Early morning - Tags: Zircon, Starlight

Murk was about to respond, then realized that it would be better if they didn't know about her mind reading abilities. If they asked out loud, she wouldn't lie, but she wasn't going to mention it unless prompted. She followed Starlight, not wanting to leave Zircon to deal with this dragon alone. My goodness, her mind is active. Sand seemed unsure of the situation, they usually didn't go to the desert side of town.

Snowbird nodded deeply. "Good morning princess." She said warmly, brushing wingtips with Princess Water. "See any prey on your morning flight?"

Zircon tried to resist squirming back farther into his den. "Hello. Yes I am. My name is Zircon." He said politely, relieved that the other dragon followed them. After a pause he added "Nice scrolls you have there." nodding to her overflowing satchel, hoping she didn't sense his insecurity.

Murk - Female Seawing/Nightwing - Early morning - Tags: Zircon, Starlight

"My name is Murk. Lovely, huh? I like it, though." She laid down, carefully to avoid knocking Sand off. She hoped her relaxed posture would calm Zircon some. "It is a nice den here. Better than mine. And to answer your earlier question, they wear the fabric to protect them a little and to keep them warm. Also, It makes them uncomfortable if you take it off, so it is best to let them leave it on." She turned her head to nuzzle Sand, and she heard waves of happy emotions come from his mind. He always liked it when she nuzzled him, for some reason. "I can't believe some might eat them without a second thought."

Opal - Female Icewing/Nightwing - Early morning

Opal flew over the neighboring forest, smelling and searching for something good. She found what she was looking for - a large deer. She dove at it, resisting the urge to use her frost breath. She slammed on it's back, killing it quickly. Then she realized that she would have trouble carrying it back. She tried flying with it, but she couldn't take off with it. Well darn. That's what i get for being a dragonet, I guess. She ate as much as she could bear, and flew back after freezing the rest with her frost breath. She wondered who else was awake at this time. She sat near the river, watching the sun rise.

swiftstrike was in one of the back rooms of his shop in possibility, polishing a recently-made dagger carved with two dragons twisting together all along it's gleaming iron blade. setting down the cloth, the hybrid walked back into the main room, hanging the dagger up on two hooks on the wall behind the stone counter. all the walls were filled top to bottom with his works; swords, daggers, throwing stars. all intricately detailed with various designs. his sharp blue gaze swept over the room for a moment, inspecting each piece. swiftstrike's shop was a circular, smooth black marble room, lit by candles in blue-tinted glass globes hanging from the ceiling. no windows, and the only exit was the dark wood door. After polishing and hanging the last blade - a half-curved katana-like sword detailed with suns, lizards, and birds - swiftstrike swept toward the door, exiting his dark shop into blinding sunlight.

possibility seemed especially busy at this hour in the morning. thoughts buzzing with to-do lists, mental notes, blah blah. all uninteresting, as usual. with the sudden bursting population in the town, all the hybrids and supporters, had made his brain start to hurt trying to catch up. all yapping about the idiotic war over dragons like himself. scowling, swiftstrike shut out the minds of as many dragons he could, weaving through the crowds down the main street and towards the river. he had his tail hooked around a metal pail, planning to get some water for his shop. finally reaching the white stone bridge, swiftstrike made his way under it, grabbing the pail with his talons and dipping it into the water, blue eyes absentmindedly analyzing everything around him for any danger.

Cobra | Sandwing/Skywing | Early Morning

Cobra dashed through the clouds fiercely, sticking her tongue out to feel the cool breeze. Chasing through flocks of birds, she managed to caught 10, placing them carefully in a large sack, she return into a small sandstone house with a food stand in front. Her father, Phoenix the Skywing, was busy selling a boar. As she landed next to her father, gently poured out the birds from the sack on to the wooden counter. As the customers disappear satisfy, Phoenix gave Cobra a bear hug and asked, "Hey little Coby! You already ate right? I didn't see you this morning and saw the cows you left on your bed." Cobra hugged him back, her father was a proud pure-bred Skywing soldier once, before he met Cobra's mother: Scarab. "Of course, papa! If I didn't ate, I would probably.... umm.... burn your bed again... BUTTTTT!!!!!! Did you sell those cows yet?" Cobra grinned, slightly embarrassed. "I saved one for lunch but the rest are as good as sold, now, be a good little dragonet and hunt some more preys. Today's very busy~!" Phoenix plane a small kiss on both of her horns and gently shoved her so she could take off without pushing the birds of the table. Cobra took off with a burst of energy and headed towards the river flowing in Possibility.

Famine stood proudly on her throne, which was trimmed with gold and diamond-shape onyx stones, 3 palm leaves stand on the top the throne and the warm sand was used as a cushion to comfort the queen. "You. Soldier, please be a dear and get me my daughter, princess Russet?" Famine pointed at a Sandwing beside her throne and asked in the most softest voice she could. The Sandwing nodded and flew in the hall.

Princes Russet swiveled her head to see a guard summoning her. "What could my mother possibly want now." She muttered, and padded off with the soldier. "Thank you." She said, as they emerged in the throne room.
