Midnight was frustrated, "We must find them before sun down - there are creatures out there. . .We can't take the risk of something to happen to them." Immediately he called a patrol to start searching. His howl shifted through the camp and on as far as the sound waves of a wolf's howl could go. Hi waited impatiently for the others to arrive.

Lusa nodded to Midnight and stepped about an inch closer to him. She wasn't about to break her normal ways, but she could at the very least join the patrol and help her pack. Looking over at Rocky, nodding for her to join. She hoped Rocky felt the same feelings she did about the pack, because she would rather not be alone with Midnight in the middle of nowhere.

He tried to keep steady and calm even though his heart was racing faster every second. How could this happen? These pups weren't like this - they had to find them. . .Whatever it takes.
