Mist giggled slightly and jumped onto a boulder a few fox-lengths away. She lifted her nose into the air and opened her mouth inhaling. "I think I smell.... Mouse? Wait no not here..." The small she-cat stuck her nose close to the ground and followed where she thought the scent was leading.

letting out a soft huff in annoyance, he stops in front of his to-be, stopping bee's progress as he glances towards mist. "bee, don't get too far away from everyone. mist, pay more attention to your surroundings." he meows gruffly, his tone stern as he flicks his ears. taking a deep breath, he closes his eyes and parts his jaws, scenting the air for any signs of recent prey. "bee, what can you scent?" he asks, reopening his pale orbs and redirecting his gaze towards the smaller she-cat

letting out a soft purr, she nods, swishing her tail back and forth absently. "it wouldn't be bad to find a mate. i'm sure my brother would probably be rather overprotective but hey, it's love, right?" she says half jokingly, nudging thyme with her paw playfully. "any fine felines you've got your eye on thyme?" she questions, a mischievous glint in her eye

With almost all the to-be's being taken for training, there was less of a chance he would be needed to keep an eye out. Sage's ear twitched after realizing Thyme was still speaking to Petal, and he instead set himself down just outside in the cave entrance. Laying to one side so there was easily still room to enter and exit, the tom's tail tip flicked back and forth idly as he watched the surroundings. Less actual guarding and more simply wasting time while looking as if he were doing something productive.

"Not especially. I've never really thought much about having a mate." Thyme answered with a slight shrug, his ear flicking dismissively. "It was always one of those things I never really considered something that would happen to me, you know?" His eyes flickered around the cave as he fell silent for a moment, his expression thoughtful.

Mist watched Talon as he said her name and she rolled her eyes making sure he wouldn't see her. The To-be sat down on the ground next to the boulder and watched with slightly slited eyes as Talon asked Bee the question. Talon isn't MY mentor, so why does he keep critiquing me? Let Frog do it not you, Talon! Mist thought Unsheathing her claws ever so slightly.

Hiss sighed slightly, a tiny bit disappointed. "Stop scenting, use your eyes, Moss." He mewed, flicking his tail irritably.


Sunteller craned her head to look over at what Mouse was asking about. "Those are dock leaves. They can be used to help with scratches and help soothe sore pads. I can't find them easily in the mountains, I have to go down into one of the valleys or just outside the mountains to find them. I usually go through them a lot since the prey-hunters and guards have to climb the rocks all the time."


Bee pouted slightly when Talon stopped her, flicking her tail slightly as he asked her what she could smell. She stopped, her ears pricking up slightly as she opened her mouth to scent the air. "I think that's hare." She mewed.

giving a proud nod in confirmation, he watches his to-be with a slight glint of pride, she was already a rather skilled hunter. "correct, can you catch it?" he asks, his tone hinting at challenge. "if not, mist may get to it first." he warns, flicking his tail towards the other to-be. the young she-cat always seemed up to a challenge, especially when it was against another to-be when hunting.

the white tabby she-cat lets out a soft mrrow of laughter, shaking her head with a sigh. "not one she-cat catches your eye at all? or have you just really not thought about it?" she asks curiously, continuing to wave her fluffy tail back and forth behind her, the slim appendage bobbing from side to side. she herself hadn't really thought about it too much, though she wouldn't mind settling down with a tom. she just hadn't found the right cat yet

flicking his ears in the direction of the sudden voice, the black tom turns his gaze towards the younger she-cat as she sat beside him. "nothing really, just sitting here is all." he meows with a twitch of his tail, returning his gaze absently towards the horizon. "what's so entertaining talking to a cat like me?" he asks, flickering his gaze back towards the cream colored she-cat for a moment
