Blueheart sat down, he noticed that the gathering was about to start, he glanced around to see where Foxstripe was but could not locate her so he just looked back at Fernstar and the other leaders to wait for the gathering to start

Fernstar
Fernstar nodded to Puddlestar before standing and raising her voice to kill the noise. "Cats of all Clans! Thank you for joining us tonight," she mewed before turning to Rosedust. "Since this is her first gathering leading her Clan, I think Rosedust should go first." She nodded to the WillowClan deputy before laying down comfortably between the two forked branches of the tree.

Threeleg
Threeleg looked up as the gathering began. Once he'd realised that Rosedust was stood up there instead of Cinderstar, he looked at Heathercloud. "Why isn't Cinderstar here?" He whispered to the medicine cat, tilting his head in confusion.

Sparrowpaw
Sparrowpaw sat down beside Berrypaw and Silentstream. His paws tingled with excitement at speaking with the other apprentice. But then his heart felt like a stone when he looked at Berrypaw. He'd been unfair to her by wanting to talk to Pinepaw. He looked away from the ginger tabby and frowned. Surely Berrypaw wouldn't mind if he was friends with Pinepaw? But what if their relationship turned into more than a harmless friendship? He didn't want to think about that right now, so just looked up at Fernstar as she began the gathering.

Heathercloud
Heathercloud looked up as Fernstar began the meeting. She looked across at Threeleg and shrugged, though her eyes showed clear pain. "I don't know. It was just tonight when Rosedust announced that Cinderstar had 'issues' yet to be addressed and that she would be taking the gathering instead. I found it strange as Cinderstar usually tells me beforehand when something is wrong." The medicine cat frowned, worry gripping her heart like a thorn in her fur.

Whiterain
Whiterain looked at Cloudchaser with wide eyes and purred in a friendly manner. "Congratulations! It's about time you became a warrior." He congratulated the fæ, before nodding. "Everything is fine in WillowClan, the prey is running smoothly and the apprentices are thriving." He mewed, curling his tail over his paws as he sat beside the she cat.

Greypaw
Greypaw looked up as Fernstar spoke. Greypaw's grey tabby fur shone a bright silver in the moonlight, and so did Fernstar's. She lowered her head when Rosedust was called to start the gathering. She didn't want any apprentices from other Clans asking why her leader wasn't attending.

Rosedust's eyes widened slightly when Fernstar said her name but she just nodded her head lightly. "I know most of you are wondering where Cinderstar is tonight, and she is taking care of some things back at camp, but she should be here by the next gathering." Rosedust stood up and smiled brightly, while puffing out her chest fur."Things have been running well in Willowclan, and the prey is still abundent. Our clan is strong and happy, even for the time of Leaf-Bare."

(Did I forget anything? I don't think I did, but just in case, lol)

Fernstar listened to Rosedust speak on behalf of WillowClan. It was good to hear that everything was well, and that they had lots of prey despite it being leafbare. She couldn't help but worry about Cinderstar, for it wasn't often that a leader missed a gathering.

Threeleg's eyes clouded with pain for the other she cat. He would feel horrible if Fernstar didn't tell him what made her miss a gathering. "Don't stress about it, Heathercloud. I'm sure she'll tell you when you get back." He reassured her before looking down at Goldenpaw. "Very unusual. Only if they are extremely sick will they stay behind. Fernstar has only missed one gathering in her 17 moons of leadership and that was because she had a bad case of greencough." He explained.

Sparrowpaw
Sparrowpaw looked at Berrypaw and forced a smile. "I just want to find out what the mountains are like, and we didn't get much time to before Fernstar started the gathering." He lied, closing his eyes in a forced happy manner to hide the guilt and dishonesty in them. He never lied to Berrypaw, and at the moment it felt like the whole world was sitting on his shoulders and his once blue sky was beginning to grow overcast..

Heathercloud looked at Threeleg and sighed. "I hope you're right. She hasn't missed any gatherings and hasn't told me anything about being busy or being sick." She mewed before looking back up at the leaders - and Rosedust - as they continued the gathering.

Whiterain
Whiterain just shrugged. "Probably just some rumours floating around the Clan then." He whispered before smiling. "At least you and the Clan are okay." He smiled at the younger fæ before looking up as his deputy began to speak.
