Willowpelt sniffed the vole,"Well, you caught it!", she meowed, tail stroking Sunpaw's back. "Next time, try to keep track of where your paws are going.", she meowed. "How about we hunt some more? You can go around and hunt, but don't go too far! I don't want to return to camp with your pelt!", she meowed jokingly, tail flicking with amusement. Willowpelt then used her paw to brush off some of the dust that fell onto Sunpaw off.

Sunpaw grinned, glad to have a mentor like Willowpelt. She hid her vole before bounding off further into plains. As she scented the air she tried to pinpoint the scent of a rabbit. She wanted to finally catch her favorite prey. Her ears perked when she finally found it. Sunpaw crept closer and closer to the unsuspecting animals, this time she made sure to keep track of her paws. She got pretty close to the rabbit before she had to give chase. At first Sunpaw was afraid the rabbit would outrun her but soon the gap closed and she was close enough to catch it and give the killing bite. My first rabbit! She thought excitedly.

She proudly watched her apprentice, Sunpaw, give the rabbit a killing bite on her first try. I had trained her well. Pride and happiness flashed in Willowpelt's heart, purring loudly. Willowpelt then turned her head, sniffing the air for any sign of prey. A pheasant was hopping around, its feathers sticking up brightly. Willowpelt quickly got into her hunting crouch, her tail hovering above the ground. She padded forward slowly, her eyes focused on the prey. Purrfect. She waited a little bit, judging how far she should jump. Then, her body darted forward, her front paws crashing the pheasant down as her claws sunk deep within its feathers. The bird flapped its wings at her face, feathers were everywhere. Willowpelt quickly gave the pheasant a killing bite on the neck. "That you Starclan for this prey", she silently whispered, bowing her head.

He sighed and walked around to see if he could to something although his clan was very busy. He finally muttered to himself and grabbed a vole from the prey pile and ate some of it up.

The male shuts his eyes as he takes in the scents around him. His ears twitched as he detected a rabbit to his right. "I smell a rabbit to our right." He murmurs softly, flicking his tail to the right, towards the rabbit. He checks the air again and scents a mouse. "And to our left is a mouse." He says softly, not wanting to scare the prey.

Silentstep

Silentstep wondered out the med den and stretched. She took a quick glance around the busy camp. She trotted out to a sunny part and lied down letting the sun hit her black and white fur.

Willowpelt carried the pheasant by the neck, the rest of its body getting dragged on the ground. She then dropped it and kicked up some dust onto it. There is no point in digging this bird under ground form ts giant size, but hiding the scent will do. Willowpelt stretched and quickly groomed her pelt, allowing the apprentice's and their mentors to train for a little while.

Sunpaw watched her mentor kill the pheasant. She hoped that one day she would be as good as a warrior as her.

Rushwing I Male I 25 moons I Crush: Open I Apprentice: -

Rushwing didn't have an apprentice to worry so he focused on hunting. At the moment he was stalking a vole.

Applesong purred. "Good job!" She was glad that her apprentice was able to decipher even the trickier scent. "Which one do you want to go after?" She asked him.

"I want to go after the rabbit!" He exclaims quietly before crouching low to ground. "Do you think I could catch it?" He asks, eyeing the rabbit closely as he brought his tail down low so it wouldn't be seen.

Applesong gave him a lick on the ear. "Rabbits are tough, but a believe in you." She told her apprentice, an amusing glint in her eye as she saw how closely he was watching the rabbit.
