Crookedtail sighed as she awoke, stretching her limbs and exiting the den. The typical scenery, as always, greeted her - sunlight, trees, and marsh.

Halfshade remained in his den, his chest rising and falling as he slept peacefully.

lionpaw stretched and yawned, blinking his bright blue eyes as his sister hollypaw greeted him. "good morning." he said sleepily, smiling and grooming his chest a little. "how did you sleep?"

thornpaw was sitting near the fresh-kill pile, eating one of the smaller mice. his stomach had been rumbling, but the mouse tasted delicious! he couldn't wait to go out and catch some more today.

the beautiful she-cat awoke with the sun flashing in her eyes, shaking her head dismissively as if that would make it go away. she groaned and stretched herself awake before crawling out of the warrior's den. she looked over and saw smallfur organizing a patrol. she walked towards her, wondering if she'd be in the patrol or not.

lionpaw smiled and shrugged. "i kept waking up. the moon was pretty bright last night." he ran his tongue over his front paws and then shook out his fur. "but i'm glad you slept well. i wonder what we're doing today?"

thornpaw finished his mouse rather quickly and with a shake of his fur, headed out. he had no idea if his mentor was up yet and he didn't want to be a bother, so he trotted off into the trees to find some prey. he kept his ears alert for any sounds, be they prey or predator.
