--I sighed a bit and replied,"Someday's I hate being a munckin. My sister isn't a munckin. Why do I have to be small?" His voice was filled with a deep sadness within. He tried to smile it off but it ate him inside, Why him?

Beigewhisker sighed. "I know how you feel. I was the smallest of my litter." She said to him. "I grew though! Just think of yourself as the tallest in the clan. It might help?" She wasn't the best at pep talks and she felt really sorry for the apprentice.

Once Wolfclaw left the den he scanned camp. He sees Stonepaw and Beigewhisker then pads over to them. "Greetings" He mews and sits next to Beigewhisker.

--He smiled hopefully, it made him feel better knowing he wasn't the only one who felt weak at times. He nuzzled Beigewhisker playfully in gratitude. "Thank you." He mewed looking at her. Stone paw was the smallest clan cat but he could still prove himself. He knew his parents would be proud knowing that they knew how hard it must of been to be a munchkin.

As soon as stone paw lauded eyes on wolf whisker he mewed in a friendly tone,"Hi Wolfclaw. Good morning."

Beigewhisker nodded. "You're welcome." She dipped her head to Wolfclaw. "Hello Wolfclaw." She said before padding away.

"And good morning to you, how was your morning so far?" Wolfclaw questions, curling his tail around his paws.

Flamestorm sighs once she was done grooming. She looks up and sees a reddish, blue sky. Thank Starclan it's New leaf she thinks to herself as a warm breeze blew past her.

--He mewed softly,"Oh it's been uneventful." Stone paw looked up at the tom and asked,"Do you think anyone would ever like me? A cat like me I mean.. A munchkin?" He grew silent waiting for a response.

"Wonderful, I'll let Stonepaw know and we'll head out." He encourages, not bothered by the dull apprentice or his mentors 'accent.' He was a bit surprised to return with his apprentice surrounded by cats, an odd site. "Stonepaw, you ready to go?"

His tail flicks back and forth, glaring after the warrior. "I don't think fighting would end up being a productive experience. Are there orders to be nice and go easy on him." It was too easy to get to a cat who lacked confidence like Stonepaw, one cough about his higher would set his mood through the ground it seemed.

"Stonepaw might surprise you." Dogteeth said flatly. To her Stonepaw had potential, maybe not potential in a skill he wanted but it was still there. "There's no need to go too easy, practice like you would with any other apprentice."

He watched his mentor, and then back to the two cats socializing as if we were kits. He looked up at the sky and mumbled,"I'll make you proud... I'll make you proud.." He missed his family, he knew he would be just like his father a warrior... Not a kitty pet like his mother.

"Stonepaw?" He repeats, not sure to whom his apprentice was speaking to. Lots of cats though outloud to fallen warriors, past lovers and family but it wasn't often he saw an apprentice talking to no one. "You alright?" Making sure the younger cat was paying attention.

Not fully convinced, he just nodded and waited for the cats to come back. "I'm too old for those kinds of surprises, I think by now I know the difference between a warrior and a cat with high hopes." It wasn't meant to sound as mean as it was, but dashing through the forts to out run a fox or other enemies took long legs.
