Spottedstar padded over to spottednose and fawnpaw. "Can you two check on Caribouhoof he is worrying me."

"What's wrong? Is he sick?" Spottednose asked

Spottedstar said,"I don't know. He is worrying me though."

FawnPaw gazed up at SpottedNose awaiting her answer. She sat up wrapping her tail around her paws as she continued to watch her mentor ready to perform any task she asked of her.

"Where is he?" Spottednose asked as she finished the rest of the finch. She got to her paws.

FawnPaw stood up and watched her mentor carefully ready to do what she did.

Spottedstar flicked her tail toward the warrior sitting and staring at the apprentice den. "He has been worse since foxpaw became an apprentice"

Caribouhoof stared at foxpaws sleeping form. His sadness hurt his heart. He didn't want to ruin his daughters life but he knew he gave up being her father when ivorypetal died.

Oakfang woke up, stretching his thick strong pelt. It bristled a bit at a sudden chill. He got up, padding out of the warrior's den. He decided he would visit his niece, Foxpaw, before going off on a hunting patrol. As he went into the apprentice's den, he noticed Caribouhoof was watching Foxpaw sleep. His eyes narrowed, not understanding why he was being so strange. "Good morning Caribouhoof. Did you need to tell Foxpaw something?" He meowed with his thick English accent.

Foxpaw was still dreaming away, a sweet dream where maple leaves surrunder her, and a light scent of flowers in the distance. She swore for a moment she saw a cat staring at her, but she could tell.

Spottednose nodded and padded towered the den. She flicked her tail telling her apprentice to follow. She walked into the den and saw Caribouhoof staring at Foxpaw.
"Caribouhoof, Spottedstar is worried about you. What's wrong?"

Caribouhoof shook his head at oakfangs question. "Have you every felt like the clan should know something but it wouchange a cats life...."
