Sedgewing walked out of the camp. She was going to hunt for any prey that still might be here. Her green eyes glanced over the snowy ground as she thought that a mouse may have been here. Sedewing opened her jaws to scent the air and a whiff of mouse scent hit her. She saw a little brown body scurry into a hole in the snow and back. She got into hunting formation and narrowed her eyes. Sedgewing launched her brown body across the snow and towards the mouse. She swiped the brown body into her paws then pinned it into the ground. She killed it with a swift nip to the neck.

"Thank you!" she meowed as she slipped out of the nursery and out of the camp. She padded to a frozen lake and meowed sadly "Oh how I miss you Arcticclaw..." she laid down onto the snowy ground and looked up at the sky. She padded back to see Fogheart and Frozenkit playing. She quietly sneaked into the nursery without them knowing.

Frozenkit frowned. He wanted to be an apprentice quickly! He figured if he could defeat an apprentice, that totally made him one automatically! He looked over at Spiritpaw and smirk. She was older than him by 6 moons, but he wanted to impress Fogheart! He turned around quickly at the bigger cat and charged at her. "Fight me!" He hissed, waving his tail around. He pounced on her, but his claws were still developing, too small to hurt. He fell off her, but jumped back on.

The she-cat padded out of the nursery and see Frozenkit trying to fight Spiritpaw. She frowned and went over to Fogheart. She hissed at him "Why did you let my precious kit try to fight her?!" she hissed quietly and sternly at him

He turned around to see his mother scolding Fogheart behind him. Frozenkit bounded back to them and tried to defend his idol. "He didn't do anything mom! I just want to be an apprentice so i can defend our clan!" He mewed louder than he meant to, his ears folding down in guilt.

Icefur sighed looking down at her small son. She looked back at Fogheart and then at her small son again. "You will become and apprentice when you are 6 moons" she meowed sternly and stalked off to the nursery in anger

He looked at the deputy with mischievous eyes and grinned. He mouthed the silent word, 'Bye' and left to follow his mother back into the nursery. He cuddled up next to his snowy parent and looked up at her, his eyes full. "Are you upset with me mom?" He mewed softly, actually feeling a little guilty about upsetting his mother. He buried his face in her fur softly.
