Nightleaf had been up most of the night; like he always was. The tom pushed into camp, caring one vole, a sparrow and two mice. His black pelt gleamed in the morning sunshine as he flicked an ear and then his tail. He dipped his head at Sparrowstar and Lilypaw as he trotted to the fresh kill pile to place down his catches.

Sparrowstar dipped her head to her deputy, "Morning Nightleaf," she said.

"Morning, Sparrowstar." Nightleaf meowed as he placed his catches down.

"I was just wondering," Sparrowstar started, "if I'd told you anything I'd planned for today?" She realized this probably sounded confusing, "I'm sorry if I confused you.." she said apologetically.

Nightleaf shooked his head. "Only the usual." He meowed. "Planning patrols and stuff." The tom murmured.

Sparrowstar nodded, "Okay, thankyou," she said.

Nightleaf nodded. He turned away and looked for free cats to go n patrol with.

Breezespirit stretched, yawning, he woke and blinked his eyes open. He groomed himself, before leaving the den.
