Silverpaw had a problem that she would never tell anyone. She could not smell. As the smell of badger closed in, she still trotted on, unaware. Crack. Silverpaw spun aroung. What was that? As the badgers large head came out of the bushes she shreaked and ran. She bolted as fast as she could. But the badger was bigger. It followed her...

[Africa.]

Snowpaw couldn't help a faint giggle at his words, but she froze in her tracks at that shrill scream. She couldn't even make a sound, though she rarely did, she just limped as fast as she could on her three paws, wincing as she sometimes tripped and it hit the ground faintly. She knew she must help this time!

[Cloudsong]

Rowanpaw's ears flattened, and silently he ran towards the sound, ignoring the searing pain coming from his paw. "Silverpaw!" he exclaimed, jumping onto the badger's back. Not again! Angrily he clawed at it, feeling blood pour onto the ground. Not the badger's blood...his blood.

[Africa.]

Snowpaw screamed, shutting her eyes tight and slamming her claws down on the badgers stomach. She yanked it back and felt sticky liquid oozing around her paws from the badger. She kept slashing, tears welling in her eyes in pain from the twisted paw that she was trying to keep off the ground while slashing at the badger with the other paw.

[LunarFaith]

Silverpaw unflattend herself from the growned and sprung, all contact with the badger. It twister to scratch her and succeded but she caught its eyes in the same place Rowanpaw had and it growled loudly. As it lumber off it gave Silverpaw one last swip. His claws raked throu her side and across her ribs. Pain shot like fire in her stomach, growing larger. She sollapsed but that badger was gone.

[Cloudsong]

Rowanpaw staggered slightly, blood seeping out of a great wound on his side. "Is everyone all right?" he whispered, coughing up more blood. He watched the badger lumber off, and shook his head, trying to clear it from the spinning sensation.

[LunarFaith]

Silverpaw pulled herself up, one rib showing under a mass of blood "Im... fine" She gasped, her teeth clenched. She limped up to Rowanpaw "Your hurt, lean on me for support" She said, keeping the pain from her voice as best as she could.

[Africa.]

Snowpaw felt a terrible burning sensation through her entire body, but barely noticed. She only noticed the two apprentices beside her. Tears welled in her eyes as she stared at them, scared. She, as always, said nothing. You could barely notice that she was white, since she was covered in both her own blood and the badgers.

[Cloudsong]

Rowanpaw clenched his teeth, shaking his head. "No," he argued weakly. "Your wounds are much worse than mine." He limped forward, towards the medicine cats den again. "Lets go." Silently he stumbled, falling again. He quickly picked himself up again, not wanting them to think he was weak.

[LunarFaith]

Silverpaw growled weekly. She sliped under him and supported some of him weight. She padded on, towing him behing, her jaw clenched, trying to ignore the hole in her side.
