Doveflight was on gaurd at the camps entrance when she saw Flamestar half carrying and half dragging an injured Ivyflower to camp. She ran to alert Eaglepaw and Fangfeather that an injured cat was coming and then ran back to help Flamestar carry her.

Eaglepaw saw Doveflight burst through the entrance to tell him that Ivyflower was hurt. He nodded calmly and padded back into the Medicine den to get Fangfeather, but could not find him.

Flamestar set Ivyflower down gently In the medicine cat's den and panted, "Eaglepaw, you will have to help her on your own. I don't know where Fangfeather is."

Doveflight sat quietly in the corner of the medicine den and watched grimly. The tip of her tail flicked back and forth and finally stood up and left the den. There was something bugging her deep in her gut that she couldn't quite place. She sat near the entrance to the medicine den.

Eaglepaw nodded, dismissing all expression from his face and calmly collecting the herbs he'd need to heal her. He chewed marigold and rubbed the poultice into the wound, wrapping cobweb around it. He leaned over her and prodded her gently. "You've lost a lot of blood, try to stay conscious." He said trying to sound soothing. "Now eat these." He said pushing poppy seeds over to her.

Flamestar bit his lip as he sat near the den, but enough away from it that Eaglepaw had room to help. Was It my fault? I never smelled it in time...
