GoldenFur comes over to where FrostFur Ambertail and SpottedClaw "What were you guys just saying I heard my name" meowed GoldenFur

" nothing" Frostfur meowed

"ok then I'm going to grade something of the fresh kill pile" purred GoldenFur as he went over to the fresh kill pile

Brightpaw wandered out of the apprentice's den, and immediately noticed the clump of cats talking, including her mentor. She considered going over there, but decided she'd rather not get involved. Instead, she decided to hunt around the camp. She headed outside and started stalking small prey, including mice and voles.

" you know what if you want Spottedclaw you can tell " Frostfur sighed

Brightpaw dropped a vole on the fresh-kill pile, then looked over towards her mentor. She was rather proud of her kill, a somewhat messy but quick catch she had made soon after exiting camp, but Ambertail wasn't paying attention. She sighed quietly, then walked out of camp, trailing her tail on the ground.

" brightpaw did you catch this vole" asked Ambertail

"if you let me tell him then there is no fun in telling him so I won't tell him" meowed SpottedClaw
