Twilightfur blinked open her eyes as she heard a strangely familiar voice from outside of her den, and she outstretched her front legs, letting her muscles tense for a few heartbeat before tucking them back into herself. "Five more minutes," she murmured under her breath, her mouth opening in a gaping yawn. As the soft sound of paw-steps came from outside, and the strong scent of someone she knew swept over her, she instantly clamped her jaw shut, not wanting to look like a complete mousebrain in front of whoever was about to walk in. As no one padded in, Twilightfur allowed her shoulders to rise and fall in a simple shrug, her mind ticking like clockwork as she wondered what she had really heard. You and your imagination again, she thought to herself, rising to her paws on stiff legs.

Spadestar slunk down beside the camp entrance, his eyes locked on his own den where Eaglestar was supposivly sleeping. Ever since the night of the wolf attack, he hadn't been able to get very much sleep, insisting to keep watch at night. He glanced around at the sleeping cats around the clearing of his camp, each from another clan. Because the lack-age of space in the Waterclan warriors den, some cats had to sleep in the clearing. With a large yawn, Spadestar realized the sun was finally coming up, and some other cats would be taking over his position as guard soon.

Roseheart blinked open her eyes, the same uncomfortable feeling creeping over her as she remembered how crowded the den was. It wasn't all that bad, though. This gave Roseheart the advantage of sleeping near Hawkfire. With a faint smile, the she-cat glanced over at the deputy beside her before resting her head once more. There's no point in getting up right now. Besides, even if I did, I'd probably wake the whole den. She closed her eyes again, quickly falling asleep to the small snores of the cats around her, along with the faint call of the birds waking.

History: When I was a kit our mother fell in love with a rogue tom and started seeing him in secret. Our father left to hunt him down. He did, and killed the rogue. Our mother never forgave him for this and she never came back to our Clan. I never saw her again. I was told that she had been killed by a coyote, and I only learnt the truth later.
