She sat down with them in the waiting room
she looked at them hoping that she will be able to hug Zest again

Explorer padded over to the Kleenex box and retrieved one for Hope. "H-how is he?" he said quietly, almost afraid to ask.

Crush:"Yes..but hi is taken"

She grabbed his paw that went around her then slowly pushed it off and turned around "You are taken" she scowled. She also turned to Hope

Hope looked up at him staring in to his eyes

Then she looked down quickly just realizing what she was doing
"Well... I does not look good"

Explorer walked up to the door and gave the knob an experimental turn. It was definitely locked. He pressed his ear to the keyhole, but heard nothing.

Explorer sighed, sitting down. His ears perked up as he heard human voices talking outside the lab door.

One of the veterinarians came over and gave hope a letter it said:

"Zest is OK and will recover but he will need a lot of rest
you can now go and see him"

Hope gave the letter to ivy and Explorer and ran to the room where Zest was, she was screaming " hes going to be alright!"
