He nodded, and reluctantly turned to face the badger again. He attacked it's leg once more, his claws gripping into it and his teeth biting down hard. The badger seemed to be losing hope, by now.

Skyfrost snarled angrily at the badger, waiting for the right moment. It's neck became exposed, and she leapt, digging her claws into its neck. It spun around, throwing her off, blood pouring from it's wound. Skyfrist spun through the air a smashed into a stump where she struggled to get up, sinking down to her paws with a moan.

"Are you alright, Skyfrost?" Rivermist asked worriedly. She tried to stand up, but winced in pain. She felt her own blood flow from her gash on her left side, but refused to move her tail away to uncover it, making it look like her tail was leaking red thick liquid.

Hawkstar stepped back in surprise as the badger fell to the ground, groaning. He almost felt sorry for it for a moment, then remembered how it had injured his clanmates. The badger got up. With what seemed to be a withering glance at them, the badger lumbered away, leaving a trail of blood.
Hawkstar breathed in deeply, glad that the badger was gone. He hoped that it wouldn't return. When he noticed Skyfrost on the ground, he ran over to her. "Skyfrost!" he said. "Are you okay?"
Hawkstar quickly surveyed his clanmate's injuries, including his own. "We need Treefur."

Skyfrost didn't raise her head, it merely whimpered. "Don't look at me. It got my.... My f-f-face!!" She broke down into shaking, refusing to look up.

"It will be okay Skyfrost," Hawkstar said. He tried to sound soothing. "Treefur will come soon."
He looked around to see if anyone was well enough to go back to camp to get the medicine cat.

She peered up at Hawkstar, revealing her face. A long thick scar ran from the left ear, over an eye down to her muzzle, blood seeping from it. The blood had stained her fur red, a disturbing contrast to her bright blue eyes.

Riverfrost bounced up, feeling a deep burning sensation on her wound. "I'll go get him. He is my brother after all." She volunteered. "I'm not as badly wounded as she is." She revealed her gash, but then quickly placed her tail on it again.

"Okay," he replied to Rivermist.
Hawkstar was surprised by Skyfrost's scar, but he tried to not show it for her sake.
She's still the same cat, he reminded himself. This could happen to anyone.

Talontip turned to the other cats. "I could get Treefur. My injuries are not too bad, bad either..."
