I look at the fellow warror that spoke to me. "Hello Tigerstep. How are you?" I ask him with a smile. I stand up hearing Thunderstars words. I walk to my place and I wait for it to be over. I wasn't a fan of ceremonys.

"I, Thunderstar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to under stand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Pebblepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" He meowed.

"I do." The apprentice meowed steadily.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name: Pebblepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Pebblenose. StarClan honors your skill and your loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StormClan."

Ravenkit crept out of the nursery to see what was happening. She knew she was only a kit, and hadn't yet had the change to hunt prey, but the older cats didn't really mean that, right? And the warriors wouldn't decline a curious cat, she told herself as she raced to the clearing.Pebblepaw was sitting up with Thunderstar, and Ravenkit took her seat. She had caught a few words of Thunderstar's first anouncment and Pebblepaw's new warrior name, Pebblenose. She debated starting the chanting for the new warrior.

Pebblenose! The thought of finally being a warrior made the young gray tom quiver slightly with happiness. He could see his former denmates; they didn't look jealous, which relieved Pebblenose. He basked in the newleaf sunlight. Cheers surrounded him. Thunderstar gestured to him as a sign that the ceremony was over; yet the sound of yowls and voices still rang around the camp.

The One With A Little Paw Will Win You Over
I smile at Pebblenose as I call his new name. "Pebblenose! Pebblenose! Pebblenose!" I yowl. I stand up and walk towards him with a smile. "How are you?" I ask him, having not seen him this morning till now.

Ravenkit smiled. "Pebblenose! Pebblenose!" she chanted for the new warrior, hoping that she would once have a day like this. It was her dream to become StormClan's greatest warrior, always fighting for her Clan. She didn't believe she was invincible, but the kit wished that she would be a brave warrior one day, known enough to have legends passed down from generation from generation about her.

Pebblenose dipped his head and licked his leader's shoulder as a sign of respect before stepping back and joining his Clanmates. Thunderstar raised his tail for silence and meowed, "This meeting is at end." before he strode to his den.
