Swanpaw jumped when she heard Simone race into camp. "What?!" she hissed, racing over to the dostressed she-cat. Her paw trailed the ground as she looked around. "Where?!" she muttered, growling softly.

{Recap for Walk This Way; Most cats are still asleep. Miststripe had gone out hunting with Riverpaw and sent her back to camp for help when a fox attacked. MIlkfeather had gone out and met up with him, and they had already scared off the fox. They know that the den is in LeafClan's territory. Also, the patrol that you sent out are not all awake yet, maybe you could read through and assign the cats who are not sleeping?}

Pinestar
Hearing her name, Pinestar immediately turned around to watch a white blur crash through the bushes. The white she-cat was out of breath, and her words were a shortage of all the information, but Pinestar understood perfectly what Riverpaw meant. "Riverpaw, you stay here at the camp and rest. Frozengaze, you and I are going out to help, if he had already chased it off, we'll find out where the den is and make sure it's not on our territory." Briskly glancing around camp, Pinestar saw Swanpaw. Thinking that this may not be an appropriate thing for the gray she-cat, she looked around the clearing again, spotting Nightpaw. "Nightpaw, I need you to try and wake more warriors to send out incase we get in trouble." With that, Pinestar rushed out of camp, heading to the place where the two cats had already fought the fox.

frozengaze nodded to Pinestar and followed her to the place where the foxes were. He spat at the fleeing fox and turned to Miststripe and nodded approvingly, his fierce green eyes turning soft for a split second.

"Uh hello?! Willing fighter right here!" she hissed, but the leader had alread treaded off. She gritted her teeth in pure anger as she debated following after them or not. With a long, deep breath, she hurled hersef through the hole and after them. When she was nearing, she slowed her pace and instantly got into a crouch and made sure she was downwind. When it was too late to backdown, she raced after them again and stopped a little bit away. The stench of fox was fleeting into her nose, but she wasn't sure she should look out there to see if it were there. The most important thing she was forgot was to stay downwind.

Pinestar
"Oh, good. You already chased the fox off... we should scout around and see if it's den is near by." Pinestar repeated everyone's thoughts, slightly out of breath from running through the woods. Glancing around, she caught the scent of another cat. The tortoiseshell's ears propped up, listening and looking for any other sign that someone else was eavesdropping. Hearing nothing but the slight breeze rustling the leaves, Pinestar convinced herself that there was no one else there, and joined back into the discussion about the plans.

Miststripe
When Pinestar and Frozengaze had arrived, Miststripe immediately dropped the smile from his face and turned serious. He nodded in approval to the leader's plan, and caught her looking around, as if something was distracting her. He briskly scanned the bushes, but since he was furthest away from the hiding place, he couldn't see anything in the shadow and didn't catch the scent.

At Pinestar's words,Riverpaw truged sleepily into the appretice den and flopped down with a loud.*FLUMP*

A small smile creased Swanpaw's lips when no one saw or noticed her. Her heart quit beating so darn fast and her breath slowed slowly. Now all she would have to do is be kept out of their site. Real fun. She closed her eyes really tight, listening to them quietly and trying to look through the fern. She twitched a bit to see then better and struck her paw on a stick. No break, don't break! she thought, eyes wide, but then in a matter of moments the stick plumetted ad cracked underpaw. No! she scolded it in her mind as her heart beat picked up again. Maybe no one heard it, she hoped no one did. She bit down on her tongue and tried to squint her eyes shut tight on the cats. I want to find the den with them! she thought hastily, but knew it was a losing situation. She wouldn't be able to go.

Pinestar
A loud cracking sound came from the undergrowth, the tortoiseshell she-cat turned her head quickly and looked closer into the shadow of the bushes. Blue eyes caught the sunlight. I knew it. "Show yourself!" Pinestar shouted toward the intruder. She showed her fangs slightly.

Miststripe
Miststripe padded slowly closer, this time he caught the scent. The gray tom knew who was hiding, "Swanpaw, come on out, we know you've been following us. Why?" Miststripe demanded with a stern tone. His amber eyes had anger in them, but also some disappointment. He mentored this cat, she should've known to stay in camp.

Cursed stick! her mind growled as she took one step out of the brush and poked her head out. One leaf dabbed over her eyes and she smacked it away with one paw. "I didn't need to stay in camp and watch as if I were a kit. I want to help." Swanpaw grumbled as she followed the rest of her steps to make the rest of her body appear. Shaking her pelt once, moreleaves fell to the ground gently. "I am an apprentice, not a kit. I am learnign to fight, give me credit. I want to fight." she whispered, claws unseathing and sinking into the soil beneath her paws.

She then shut the blue of her eyes, hoping fo rthe best, but knowning she what was coming. The worst. Everyting would crash down and she would have to probably clean the elder's den for the next four or five moons. Her shoulders moved forward with anxiety as the tension grew. Is Miststripe that upset with me? Hello! You owe me! I need to shred the fox's ears off because it kept me from being trained! she thought in ehr haste.
