The good wishes of all Shrewclan will go with you." She waited for the clan's reaction, then went on. " Cloudpaw, please come up. I, Thornstar, leader of Shrewclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Cloudpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" ((let's pretend she said yes.)) You will sit your silent vigil tonight." She licked her shoulder. She looked up at her clan. "I am to old to look after the clan anymore. So tonight, I shall join the elders. Gingerheart is you new leader." She looked down and waited for her clan's reaction.

Tikiheart nodded from her place in the crowd and stood beneath her. "Thank you, Gingerstar. I promise to be loyal to Shrewclan to the end of my days." She mewed coolly. She was jumping out of her skin with excitement, but covered it up.
