"I see," Auroramoon said quietly. "Don't try too hard to remember the past, there are horrible things that might have happened," she mewed.

"Okay, I won't. Thank you for telling me; I'll ask Oceanstar about this and see if she knows anything." Seafur nodded slightly. "Now, are we going diving?"

"Yes, we are!" Auroramoon mewed with excitement, she began running towards the ocean.

Seafur followed slowly, padding up to the water and into the shallows. He calmly slipped in, his eyes narrowed as he paddled.

Auroramoon watched Seafur carefully, hoping that the water would be calm today.

[Sake]

Seafur dunked himself under a few times, keeping his eyes slightly opened. He scowled at the sting but he had to get his eyes to adapt. After he was satisfied, Seafur swam out a bit farther and dove under quietly.

Seafur spotted Oceanstar as he came back up. He paddled to shore quickly and bounded over to her. "Hello, Oceanstar. I had a question about my name, if you don't mind." He dipped his head.

oceanstar looked at him puzzled "is there something wrong?"

"No, no. Nothing's wrong." Seafur shook his head. "It's just... Auroramoon told me a story about a cat named Seafur. Did you name me after him?" He looked at her curiously.
