I watched as my mate walked away with our two living kits. I left and went back to my den, waiting for Thornpaw to fall asleep. I stopped by the pool of darkness on the way. The pool of darkness shows you your greatest desire that you can't have. It was placed here to torture us dark forest cats. I looked in and saw Bramblewind, Brightriver, Tawnykit, and Birdkit. I quickly looked away and headed home to wait for Thornpaw
