He looked down, trying to measure the truth he heard in the she-cat's words. "If you're lying... I'll leave," Flamekit meowed, sounding more sure than he really was. Maybe the she-cat could get him food. For now, all he could do was trust her word.

"I'm not lying," Thrushleap assured him, picking him up gently. She glanced around, deciding to follow her footsteps. And she did so, eventually finding her way back to the cabin. "It's very warm inside."

Sparrowpaw approached her mother and Spottedpaw. She didn't say anything, she just stood there.

Mottlefur smiled at him. ''Thanks.'' She purred. ''You did good as well.''

Jaypaw sat on a couch, unsure of what to do. He felt depression in the air, but hadn't been informed of the news.

"Anywhere is warmer than out there," he meowed softly, glancing down. Flamekit didn't complain about being carried. It allowed him to scope out the area in case he had to make a run for it. It was what Emberstorm has taught him; know your surroundings.

Thrushleap entered the house and set the small tom down. "Will you tell me what happened to Emberstorm?" she meowed. "Oh, I'm Thrushleap, by the way. I don't think I told you my name."

Whitepaw licked his paw,looking up as he heard his siblings come running in. He assumed it was because they had gotten into a fight, but he could sense sadness in the air.

He looked around and frowned. Why were they in a twoleg den and who were those cats everywhere? He hardly doubted a twoleg kept them willingly. "You didn't. Tell me your name, that is. Who are all those cats and why are we in a twoleg den?" Flamekit meowed, avoiding the question about his mother.

"Thank you," Falconheart smiled at his friend. "So, shall we go our separate ways now, or are you not tired of hanging out with me yet?" He said jokingly, wondering if it was possible to get tired of him.

"These are your clanmates," Thrushleap meowed. "We're here because monsters took over our old camp. We don't like it, but it's our only option," she meowed. "We'll be leaving soon."
