Shadowcast pricked his ears to hear the ceremony from the nursery. His eyes widened as it was announced that Oakflower was dead. With a dip of his head, Shadowcast whispered. "Lilypaw will be an excellent medicine cat." Before hearing more names. "Must be a warrior and apprentice ceremony." He added.

Minnowash nudged Firetooth on the shoulder. "Can't forget our vigil tonight." She murmured. The vigil was going to be hard for Minnowash for she needed to be silent the whole way through, but she would try. "Cherrypaw! Cherrypaw!" The new warrior called as Felicity was granted a new name.

Whitekit was confused at all of the sounds around him, but he kept silent. After all, the tiny kit was exhausted. Curling up next to his sisters, he fell asleep.

Arthur watched her leave before his housefolk came through. He said something before opening the fridge and taking something out. Arthur jumped off the fridge and followed him back through to the living room.

Tiger looked at her before she left. He glanced back at the forest before jumping from the fence, landing on the soft grass of his yard. He trotted down the grass and slipped through the open window and into the conservatory, which was empty. He padded into the living room, thinking over what May had said.

Reedstar grinned at the kit, seeing her fail to contain her excitement, she straightened back, explaining mostly for Falicity. "When a kit reaches the age of 6 moons they will train as an apprentice of our clan. A warrior will be assigned to help guide you. They teach you to fight, hunt and the code we all must live by until finally you are granted your fully warrior name. Felicity, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Cherrypaw. Your mentor will be Swampfoot. I hope Swampfoot will pass down all he knows on to you. It is not normal for an apprentice to be trained by your parent but I entrust Swampfoot will pass on his persistence and patience on to you. Swampfoot, I entrust you will not be soft just because she is your daughter, you both will need each other and to work hard to prove your loyalty to our clan. " She nodded, before looking back out. "Dapplekit. Please step forward."

Dappledkit padded up and looked at Reedstar, shaking slightly. The gray spotted she dipped her head, grinning wildly.

"Dapplekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dapplepaw. Your mentor will be Lavapool. I hope Lavapool will pass down all he knows on to you.
" Reedstar turned, addressing the young warrior. "Lavapool, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Windfur, and you have shown yourself to be determined and clever. You will be the mentor of Dapplepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Dapplepaw." The russet leader called out the new names of her clanmates, before settling, smiling shyly. "The new warriors and apprentices will follow me as we escort Lillypaw as she gains her full name as medicine cat. Emberflight, please schedule hunting and border patrols. Leaf fall is approaching, all cats under the age of 20 moons are to avoid the swamp and water, we can not risk hypothermia or drowning."
