Robinstar gave a small laugh "Hey Blackpine have you ever thought of yourself as a deputy?"

Blackpine shrugged. "I've wondered what it would be like to lead," he admitted. "Power has always been... appealing, but not in a Tigerstar sort of way." He let out a chuckle. "I suppose everyone wants to lead, don't they?" He paused. "But really, I've never considered being deputy, I've always just wanted to be the leader. I suppose that when you want to lead- you never think of what comes before, do you?"

Blackpine's tail shot up in the air as if he'd just been told that he was about to die. "Do you mean- I'd be honored, Robinstar."

"But you will need an apprentice first I think Seedkit will do well for you a challenge since she gets distracted." she mewed "Now lets go to camp so you can be deputy."

Blackpine nodded and picked up his squirrel, still shaking. "Thank you, Robinstar," he said through a mouthful of fur.

Robinstar yowled calling a clan meeting.

"Seedkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Seedpaw. Your mentor will be Blackpine. I hope (name of warrior or medicine cat) will pass down all he knows on to you.

Icekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Icepaw. Your mentor will be Elkflash. I hope Elkflash will pass down all she knows on to you.

I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Shadowclan will be Blackpine!"

Black pine dipped his head as the cheers of his own name rang around. "Thank you, Robinstar, I am honored to be you deputy."
(He said that what, 3 times?)

Seed paw bounced around her mentor.
"I'm going to be a warrior!" She squeaked. "Just like you!"

Black pine rolled his eyes. "Not if you act like a two moon old kit, you won't," he said with a purr.

Seed paw stopped jumping around and flopped down to the ground. "Okay," she said, but not two minutes later, the light came back to her eyes. "When can we start?" She asked.

Black pine smiled. "Tomorrow. It's getting late."

Wildstar

Wildstar slept in his den, dreaming of horrible fates the forest might meet if Mousefoot- err... Mouse, took over the forest, images of blood splashing onto the ground haunted his sleep. He could hear the yowls of dying cats and ringing in his ears.
Wildstar woke up with a jolt, oh StarClan let that be a nightmare! He thought worriedly.

Icepaw

Icepaw awoke after agood night of sleep, and for a few seconds wondered why he couldn't see his mother. Oh, right! I became an apprentice yesterday! He got up, silently thanking Robinstar, and slunk out of the den to find Elkflash.

Seedpaw

Seedpaw bounced over to her brother, ready to wake him up, but then realized that he was already awake! Well, that's a first! She thought with a purr. "Wake up, wake up!" She giggled, looking straight into her brother's tired eyes.
Icepaw got to his feet and rolled his eyes. "You knew I was awake!" He said.

Seedpaw flicked her tail. "So I did, come on! Let's find our mentor's!" Seedpaw darted out of the den.
"I was going to do that, too," Icepaw grumbled, exiting the den.
