SunClan's Story [New Thread]

Eaglestar raced through the camp, checking the shadows and dens for anyone left behind and directing anyone she found towards the tree. She looked up, seeing the monster approaching. She hoped the clan would be safe under the tree; it was out of the monster's path, and she'd never known them to turn or pursue cats as they raced along their thunderpath. She could only hope this one behaved the same.

Lightpaw raced through the grass, tumbling into a foul smelling path of flattened grass, the ground shaking faintly under her paws. She looked to see the back of the monster, moving quickly away from her--and towards the camp.

Sprucepaw loped into view, and skidded to a halt before Hollyclaw. She bent her head to pick up one of the queen's young kittens. Her eyes gleamed with fear as she backed out of the stump and halted paces away. She knew the she-cat wouldn't run unless she knew where her kits were, so she had to wait for Hollyclaw to emerge. Trembling seized her body, and she flattened her ears against the roar of the oncoming monster. She hoped Appleleaf was alright, and Cedarpaw. She would go back for herbs, but there was nothing to be done now, with the kit in her jaws.

(Um holliclaw only has 3 kits and pineclaw gingerpaw and herself are carrying one each so there arw no more kits to carry)

Holliclaw ran with gingerpaw and pineclaw wirh her kits.

Stonekit was worried and looked around scared

Raccoonstrike let out a sharp hiss of terror and then began to move foward through the rushing, terrified Clan. He shook his head, trying to move faster, but the injury in his side ached and stung with pain. The cats were quickly vanishing, only a few of the less able--Hollyclaw and her kits and the cats who were aiding her, Eaglestar, and a few others--were left. He managed to break through into the deeper grass, when someone called his name. "Appleleaf!" he yowled back, recognizing the medicine cat's frantic cry. He paused, shaking, and searched the sea of gold and green for the she-cat.

Cedarpaw loped alongside Lightpaw, only just noticing her. He followed the stream of cats out of the camp, the roar of the monster pressing loudly on his ears. He hoped Sprucepaw would be alright...she had stayed behind to help the queen. He hadn't seen anyone else that needed assistance, so he had fled with the rest. His eyes were alight with fear for the Clan, for his sister, for everything. What if they couldn't make it? Was it a sign that SunClan shouldn't have been formed?

"Raccoonstrike!" Appleleaf cried again, finding the tom strugling through the sea of grass. "Let's get out of here." She propped Raccoonstrike on her shoulder and began to aid the tom with running.

Lightpaw spotted Cedarpaw--so cat were already fleeing the camp. Of course, it would have been hard not to notice the monster heading towards them. Eaglestar probably had everything under control. She followed the stream of cats, who seemed to be heading towards a nearby tree. She realized she was still holding the herbs she'd been carrying; those that hadn't fallen already, at least. She kept a hold of them; they could still come in handy.

Rose was terrified so she began to follow the cats to wherever they were going. She saw two who looked like they were having trouble and she ran to them, with a couple feet in between them and her though, just to be cautious. A whimper slipped her mouth but she wasn't sure if they heard.

Stonekit was left behind he paniced now and pineclaw was no where in site

Raccoonstrike gratefully leaned against the she-cat. Panting slightly, he padded along as fast as he could manage. The cold fear of the monster gave him some of the speed of adrenaline, but he his movement had already broken the new scabs that covered his wounds and they were dripping blood. Nothing serious, but it did hurt a bit. Raccoonstrike prayed to StarClan that no cat would get injured from this new danger. Rustling sounded behind him, so faint from the monster's growl that he barely heard. He glanced back and was surprised to see an unfamiliar cat, a brown kitten. He nudged Appleleaf and beckoned the little she-cat closer; no time for introductions, she was in danger just as much as everyone else.
