Rocket's hoof slipped. He had missed a step. He scrabbled for a moment before regaining his footing. That was close. Rocket whispered, a slight air of nervousness in his voice. But whatever fear had been there was gone in a heartbeat as Rocket continued leaping through the mountains. He stopped at a cliff edge and let the wind blow through his mane. He could make out some tiny dots moving along below that were WMEs.

Hana pricked her ears. She could hear water in the distance. Needing a drink to wash down her meal, Hana took off at a comfortable trot towards the river. She arrived in a few minutes and began to drink. I wonder if there are any other WMEs around.. Hana mused peacefully. She kept her ears pricked, alert.

(NOTE: Rocket is 12.3Hh, so your WMES will probably look down on him, while Hana is 14.3Hh, so they'll probably be looking up to her X3)

Bruno walked over to a river and sipped the cool water from it. He picked his head up and moved his ears. I could have sworn I heard something.. He thought. He walked down the river and saw Hana. "Hello.." He said.

Hana lifted her head as she heard another equid nearby. Sure enough, there was a fiery gold-orange equid walking along the river. He was rather tall, almost as tall as her. He noticed her and said an uncertain hello. Hana cocked an eyebrow at him. "Hello, my name's Honolulu, but you can call me Hana. You're awfully.... tall. Not compared to me, but still. So what brings you around here?" Hana swished her tail around her legs, an inquiring but playful and sarcastic smile spread across her lips. She liked the looks of this WME. She stood waiting for an answer, hoping she didn't come on too strong. She was just a very assertive mare.

"I'm Bruno." Bruno said. he walked a bit closer since he was rather for away. "What, you used to shorties?" He said and smiled crookedly. He streched his neck up. "Why, I'm practicly taller than you, Hana." He said jokingly.

"Yes, I am used to shorties (like Rocket, 12.3HH). And you'r not quite taller than me mister X)" Hana said, grinning. She playfully swatted him with her tail before leaping into the river (which went up to her chest). "If you're so tall, then you can catch me in the river!" Hana splashed playfully in the water, waiting to see if Bruno would follow. She may have seemed like she was playing (which she was), but she was also seeing if this stally was herd material. Multi-tasking in a way.

Bruno grinned and jumped in after her. He waded towards her. "I'm sure I could catch you! You have like, what, an inch on me." He said. He pushed his way through the water towards her.

The piebald mare lowered her pink and black muzzle to the cool river. She took a quick, small drink - then her head shot up, fast as lightning, and her golden eyes glistened as she surveyed her surroundings. Ithildin was not in a good mood - cranky, short-tempered, and with a twisted sense of humor - for the moment.

"I'm in a tree," she muttered suddenly, envisioning herself sitting in the upper branches of a pine tree. "I'm not in a tree. I'm in a tree. I'm not in a tree." She shut her mouth suddenly and decisively.

"Stop being an idiot," she thought angrily at herself. "You're in one of those moods again, where you're grumpy and have a stupid sense of 'humor'! Snap out of it!" But her cranky, outer self refused stubbornly, and the graceful mare was left with a bad attitude - for the moment, at least.

Mood: Tired, relieved, a bit impish.
He is crushing on no-one

I flick my tail at Esperanza. "Don't worry about it. We all got out of it alive." I say dismissively, through a mouth full of grass. But I don't feel as dismissive as I sound. The matter of the rock fall is something that should be discussed later, privately, and not something to spoil the lovely sunshine and grass. I look at Risa, smiling. "The fishies can fend for themselves!" I say, and playfully pretend to chase her away, chuckling.
