The past is a curious thing, the young brute thought. It leaves you with so many scars and yet, so many ever-lasting memories. "Perhaps I should find myself a new companion." he chuckled, joking to himself. He missed the joys of being in a relationship; No, he did not want anything serious. Not after last time. But companionship every once and a while didn't hurt. "And now here I am, talking to myself." he muttered, rolling his eyes at himself. Pathetic. Since when did a normal creature talk to themself? "Maybe I'm simply lonely." he pondered over it for a second, before letting loose a cute, carefree laugh. The thought was ridiculous. He didn't get lonely. His life was all flings, no real relationships. It was fun, and he never longed for a serious relationship.

Truly ridiculous of him to even consider that thought. Eli wasn't about to change his ways in curiousity of what may or may not be true. "Or maybe I should just stop talking to myself and drift back into the world of the sane." he murmured softly, his deep, seductive voice bouncing off of the rocks around him. There were no real relationship that he had truly cared about, he realized. Well, except for one... But that all ended in death and heartbreak, and he wasn't about to let it happen again.
