Murderers in Riverclan V.1

Silverscar awoke to a slight murmuring.
It was her Clanmates. They must be hiding
from the rain, which had stopped and
started up again. The river was at risk
of flooding, so everycat was being
cautiouse. "It's hard to believe that we
have to live with a murderer." She
over heard the other warriors whisper
in hushed, serious voices. "I think it's
Silverscar." Silverscar's heart dropped
When she heard the accusation.
"Yeah, me too." Another cat spoke.
Were her clanmates talking about her?
She couldn't help but let out a hiss of
anger. Now they knew she was awake.
"You guys think im the murderer?" She
spat, flattening her ears. The others looked
In horror as they realized she had heard
their conversation. "Look... Silverscar,
I... I'm sorry. We... we were just gossiping.
Reedflower apoligysed. But it was too
late. Silverscar was already trudging out
the warriors den. She wasn't going to stay
in this filthy clan anymore. The she-cat ran
Out of camp, her eyes shut with sorrow.
She was about to open her eyes when she
Plunged into the churning river. It's cold waves
Swept her down stream, until she lost
consciousness.
Soon enough, Silverscar woke up In a warm
Two-leg nest. She lived there for the rest of
Her life.

The nursery seemed peaceful. Lilyfoot couldnt
sleep. The rain was now a faint drop every so
often. But rain wasn't keeping the queen
awake. She was worried. Poppykit had almost
been murdered, so who knows if they'll try
again? Getting up, she carefully maneuvered
her sleeping kit, and padded out of the nursery.
She began to head out of the camp as a
clanmate hurried to join her, "Oh, hi..." They
hushed her before she could finish her
sentence, "You don't want to wake everyone
else, do you?" They whispered. "Come on, let's
go for a walk together." They walked in silence,
untill reaching the river that all of the Clan's
victims had been found by. Lilyfoot backed away.
"Uh, this place is kinda creepy. How about we go
back to camp?" She suggested, but the other
cat just smirked. "But the fun is just beginning!"
Before she new it they were jumping at her,
and she was shoved into the shallow edge
of the river. "You... You can't possibly be the
murderer!" Lilyfoot was shaking, and her heart
was pounding almost as fast as the raging river.
"You don't believe me? Maybe you will once I
kill you!" They hissed, befor knocking the she-cat
over with a strong blow. She stumbled deeper into
The river, it was at her neck now. "Wait! Please!
I don't have any energy to swim!" She cried
desperately. "I... I need to take care of Poppykit!"
She whimpered. But they ignored her. And with one
final push, she feel into the depths of the roaring
river.


You just lost a queen, RiverClan!

Raineyes blinked awake, her eyes adjusting to the dim interior of the nursery. Poppykit was curled up against her side, but Lilyfoot was nowhere to be seen. Her friend's scent was stale, which was worisome in itself given recent events. What if Silverscar hadn't been the killer? Unease stirred in her heart.
Gently, Raineyes uncurled from around Poppykit, careful not to wake her, and poked her head outside the nursery. Not many cats were awake, and she didn't see any movement around dirtplace, meaning Lilyfoot wasn't there. She saw the dawn patrol preparing to head out, and approached them. "Have any of you seen Lilyfoot? She isn't in the nursery, and by the smell hasn't been for a while."

Foxstar had just woken up as light streamed into her den. The recent murders had shaken the she-cat quite a bit, though now she was sure they had exiled the murderer. Stretching, Foxstar padded out of her den, yawning as she stepped out into the Riverclan camp. She caught sight of Raineyes approaching the dawn patrol, but thought nothing of it, so simply sat and waited for the clan to wake up.

[Coco Bunny]

Poppykit let out a yawn as the warmth around her shifted multiple times before eventually leaving. Poppykit cautiously sniffed the air, noticing the scent of her mother was stale. 'L... Lilyfoot? Raineyes?' She squeaked, fearfully. Had the cat who'd tried to hurt her gotten to her caretakers as well?

Cloudfrost turned around to look at Raineyes, who had approached them, and shook his head. "Nope, is she not in the nursery?" He asked, a hint of worry in his voice, "I saw her padding out of camp last night, however," the warrior added.

[gallifrey falls.]

Worry filled her at Cloudfrost's words. Lilyfoot shouldn't have gone out on her own, not not. She flicked her ears towards the nursery, hearing Poppykit's meowing, and dipped her head to Cloudfrost. "Would you keep an eye out for her? Maybe she injured her leg and couldn't get back to camp." I hope to StarClan that's all that happened.
Raineyes padded back into the nursery, and gave Poppykit's head a comforting lick. "Don't worry, little one. I'm sure your mother will return soon."

Goldencloud stretches, licking his fur nervously. He strongly felt they had exiled the right cat, nobody else would be killed. With cats dying every day though, he couldn't help but feel that they were wrong. He padded out of the warriors den, wondering what the others were talking about.
