Amberfur sprawled out in the clearing of camp, allowing her fur to soak up the rays of sun above her. It was getting harder and harder to move around the closer she got to kitting.

I raced after him at first. Then I realized that I'd never beat him if I just sprinted. Instead, I lengthened my strides, turning short steps into long bounds. I started to get even with him.

Sunstar easily lengthened his strides and went faster. He laughed softly.

"Come on, how about we go for the walk now? I need to stretch my legs." He sighs before standing up and stretches, arching his back until his chest touched the ground.

Rivermist slowly stood. "I guess. Patchfoot only said that I couldn't do warrior duties." She said, flicking his back with her tail.

"That's true." He mews before padding through the camp entrance. "Ah fresh air!" he exclaims before taking a deep breathe.

Rivermist sighed softly. "Yeah... Walking is nice." She said, entwining her tail with his.

He smiles and looks up at the slightly darkened sky. He purrs slightly before looking at Rivermist. He twitches his ear as he walks.
