"Blizzardsky? " she said slowly and quietly the mice fell from her jaw and dropped to the dusty gound. " W-were where y-ou? " she choked out her paws falling weak, she had been out hunting to get her mind of things, and no mouse-brain came back to tell her? " Where have y-you been? Y-you left me here, w-why didn't you t-take me w-w-with you wherever you w-went? " she said and she was on the verge of letting out a strangeled sob.

Blizzardsky's ears flicked at the sound of his name. He looked up solemnly to see a familiar cat. Was that...? "Shadowfern!" Rudely, he ran past Opaqueshade and into Shadowfern's shoulder, nearly knocking her over. His whole demeanor suddenly changed at the sight of this she-cat. "No, no, I'm back now... I have so much to explain... But I'm okay! It was very dangerous; you were better off here. I- I'm so glad you're okay!" He couldn't refrain from purring loudly as he nuzzled her cheek reassuringly. Blizzardsky felt very relieved to see Shadowfern again.

" You didn't leave me? " she asked confused " I thought if I couldn't have um... I uh. " she stuttered her eyes flicking staring at the ground embarrassed. " What happened to your head? " she wailed and pushed her paws on his shoulder to get a better look, " what happened, what did they do to you? "She said the words and questions tumbling out her mouth " I've missed you! " she let out a distressed sob nuzzeling her muzzle into his neck fur. " Now. Where is the foxhearted flea-bag featherbrained iidot who did this to you! " she snapped her claws digging into the soil.

Blizzardsky licked her cheek. "I would never leave you. I was taken by Twolegs... They... They killed Forestkit. Me and Solsticetalon escaped, but..." He could barely muster up the anger toward the tom. The overwhelming feeling of seeing Shadowfern again drowned out his hatred for Solsticetalon. "Solsticetalon left me to die, but I would never do that to you. Ever."

Blizzardsky nodded. The sharp pains he had endured moons ago were less severe and less common. That was a good sign, right? Other than the random whispers of voices in his ears from time to time- even when he was alone. "It's okay." The black and white cat nosed her to get her mind off of it. "I would love something to eat..." He hoped his eating wouldn't cause drama from Thunderstorm again. Speaking of which, he wondered where the tom was. He nodded to Featherpool and Opaqueshade in acknowledgement as he allowed Shadowfern to lead the way.

When the called cats gathered Bristlepelt spoke, "As I mentioned in the clan meeting, we need several night guards. I thought you all might be up to the task. Every night one of you will be by the entrance and any time any cats comes in or goes out you are to question them. If they are going out make sure they are going somewhere safe and if they are going into camp, ask where they have been and if they are okay. If they aren't for some reason, like you end up meeting an Infected, you are to yowl as loud as you can to wake the clan for help and try to kill it. Its strict but I think it is needed for Sunclan to survive. Are you all up for this?"
