The black she-cat looked around. Her red eyes scanned the area. Then Gingerpelt's figure came into view. "Hello!" she mewed. The apprentice padded to her. Her pelt and eyes unusually glowed from the sun.

"Oh, hi Acepaw", Gingerpelt smiled,"Out for a hunting trip or just a peaceful new leaf walk?", he asked.

"A little both. Mostly a walk." She smiled back. Her red eyes gleamed.

Gingerpelt nodded then raised his head to sniff the air,"I scent a pheasant. I have these past couple days but they keep moving around and they are pretty sneaky".

Wolfspirit padded. "Alright. I know we are allies with the wolves, we have to check if they are stealing." He said and sniffed the air.

Squirrelpaw sniffed dashing around silently to get as much as the scent as possible, "Hmm... I don't small anything. Only leaves..." Squirrelpaw glanced at the tree above her again like before. She stopped at Gingerpelt's comment, " Sorry."

Gingerpelt flicked his ear and glanced around, then at Squirrelpaw, "Focus. Focusing is key."

The wolf warrior nodded and frowned as no wolf scent was here. Though it was stale.Sunrise... He thought as her familiar wafted towards him.

"Scent anothing?" Gingerpelt asked curiously, noticing Wolfspirit's change of face.
