Bramblestrike looked at Darksand body, trying to find words to explain, but he couldn't. He knew he had broken the warrior code, but he couldn't control himself. It had just...happened.

"Bramblestrike killed Darksand and Shadowfeather and I killed Starkwing," Silverwater said, padding up. "We didn't mean to break the Warrior Code, but it was the nessesity."
Splashingriver nodded, and tears filled his eyes. Even though his parents were evil, he still loved them somewhere deep in his heart.

Silverwater nodded, not wanting to argue. "What matters is that we did what we did to defeat these evil cats."

Echostar nodded. She saw the pain in Silverwater and Splashingriver's eyes. She knew what they felt. Her father had been just as dark as Darksand and Starkwing. "Well done my warriors." she congratulated. "I'm proud of you all. Especially you Splashingriver. You may not have been in the battle...but you went through it all and put your life over Silverwater's." she flicked her ear.

Splashingriver nodded. "Shall we go back to camp?"
