Silversnow cocked her head worriedly then climbed up to a nearby branch. She looked over at him, the tom's branch slightly higher than hers. "Want to talk about it?" She meowed softly, her crystal blue eyes looking up at him supportively.

Echostorm sighed. She ignored the little tuft of fur sticking up just out of her reach, and forced herself to turn her icy blue gaze to Oliveblaze. "How do you do it?" She asked in an exasperated tone, wishing she could just run into the forest and hide. "How do you hunt?! It looks so easy, and yet the best thing I can catch is a leaf!"

The moonlight cast eerie shadows on Jaystar's silver spotted pelt. He held Silversnow's gaze for a second. "I don't know what to make of it. It's all just a jumble. StarClan never really did make things clear, did they?" he chuckled softly, turning his eyes to the almost full moon. "I've been thinking. Sparrowthorn is a lot better, and he's completely capable of running the Clan for a while. I... I want to go on that journey tomorrow. It will help me find my path."

Oliveblaze held a mildly surprised look on his face. "Well... the best things to know are to stay downwind, watch where you place your paws, and time your attack carefully." He tried to remember how Echostorm had approached her prey. She always seemed nervous and unsure. "If you aren't confident, the prey can sense your agitation. Try to stay calm. And don't rush. Hunting takes patience."

"Journey?" She asked, leaping up to sit beside Jaystar on his branch. "Which journey? Are you sure you'll be ok?" She meowed.

Jaystar flicked his ears towards Silversnow. "You know, the quest to find the new Clan. You're going, aren't you?" He paused for a second. "I'll be fine. Maybe I'll sleep better if I'm farther away from StarClan." He regretted hiding from StarClan, but he didn't know what else to do. It would only be for a short time.

"So you're coming with us?" Silversnow inquired. She was silent for a long moment. "It would look better, in political terms. And I know a really nice place I'd like to show you; maybe you can find yourself there. My mother and father found love there, and I was born there," she meowed. "It's a very peaceful area, with the most beautiful landscape you can imagine," she whispered, closing her eyes and smiling at the moon, remembering it.

Jaystar smiled for the first time in ages. Silversnow saw the beauty in life's simple things, and it made him want to see that too. "Thank you. I'd love to see your special place." He followed her gaze to the moon, and something deep inside him stirred.

Echostorm groaned. "I have practiced! Time and time again!" She exlaimed, her tail lashing. "I just can't get it!" The fire in her eyes seemed to suddenly fizzle out, and her lashing tail now drooped. "Never mind." She mumbled. She really wished she could hunt better, but fighting was more of her thing. "I'll just keep trying, I guess. I'm bound to catch something eventually."

Oliveblaze sighed. "See what I mean?" he meowed calmly. "You have a quick temper and are sometimes impatient." He padded over to her and peered at where she placed her paws. "Sorry if I sound like a mentor, but could I see your hunter's crouch?"

Silversnow yawned. "I'm going to go try and catch a little sleep before the sun rises. Goodnight, Jaystar," she meowed softly, slowly descending the tree branch by branch.
