Maria found herself wondering how her pups were doing. She knew Mary would take care of them, but she hoped Eileen wasn't too scared being with the humans. Her train of thought was derailed as Kuroku listened to his voice. Maria covered her ears with her paws and let out a howl; it was actually painful to have heard the Arceus-awful noise.

Her ears perked as she heard the vulpix talking with another pokemon. Her eyes sparkled and she got an idea. She knew that the strange pokemon belonged to the trainer, and wanted to see how they would act if she attempted to play with the trainer. So, she leaped backwards, out of the human's reach, and bounded around, yipping a little here and there.

Mary was left in charge of the five pups when everyone left. She pricked her ears and spotted Mimi getting some water. The pups yapped and wrestled with each other, already having an urge to battle. Mary was prepared to break up their wrestling if it got too out of control.

Lycan pinned his ears at the infernal sound. A shudder ran up his spine as he looked at the Mimikyu, "What in the name of arceus was that sound?" He asked

Mary gave a nod to the Fennekin, then broke up a fight between her runt and son. She sighed some, hoping Maria would return soon.

"Hell, I'm pretty sure it was Hell." said Maria quietly, looking to Lycan. She rubbed her ears some, then let out a little sigh. "You wanna go talk to Ryuu?" she asked.

"Sure." He nodded and turned towards the ranch

Ryuu was sweeping off the porch when he noticed Lycan walking with a pokemon. It was the furfrou that left. He smiled, hoping she was back to stay, but he noticed the pups weren't with he

Maria walked alongside Lycan. She approached the porch, then slightly wagged her tail. "Hey Ryuu, how are you?" she asked, wondering how he'd react to her speaking.

"Well, you can speak now." He looked at her collar and noticed the box but he didn't say anything about it," So where are the pups and how are they doing?" He asked with a smile

Lycan trotted around the ranch while they talked

"They're back at the foundation with my sister." said Maria softly, sitting on the step, "They're all okay. Eileen, the sick one, is in their lab getting some tests done. They have some kind of treatment that might help her." Maria yawned a little and flicked her tail. "It's been a long day." she said.

"So, will you and your pack be coming back here at all?" He asked. Ryuu enjoyed their company around the house
