Like mentors do to see if their apprentices are ready to be warriors." She looks back at Heavenlight. "Heavenlight this is Storm. Storm this is Heavenlight." She meows, realizing the she-cat hadn't met the loner yet.

Petalpaw continues to bat Specklefalls tail playfully, bored with all the warrior talk.

"Oh, ok." She meows and lays down. "Its almost sun down, I wonder where everyone is." She meows as she bats a leaf.

"Oh." Orchid meows now knowing that the she cat was Shellkit and not Shellstar. "Of course i'm Orchidkit..." She meows confused at why Shellkit asked her. She was not aware that her mother was a kittypet, since clan life was the only life she knew. "Mom, I am Orchidkit right, because all kits in the clan have a name that ends in kit, right?" She meows, looking back at her mother.

Seashell paused as she heard Orchid. "You.... you don't live in the clan Orchid" she meowed, gently stroking her kit's head with her tail. Then she thought, but if she took them back to her housefolk's den then... they would take them away. She was suddenly scared, she couldn't let her kits be taken!
