Again, I dismiss it; it doesn't matter. Confused about how I feel towards the two toms walking along behind me, I pick up the pace, desperate to be out of this patrol. Asap.
Hawktail;
I cough awkwardly, "Um... listen, little ones, you need to get your sleep." I say softly, "Just content yourselves to know that you come from the warmth of me and your mothers love." I get out, ears flat, and then I back out of the den warily. I guess I can bring Thunderstar a mouse. I go to the freshkill pile to do so.

Returning with a mouse, I drop it silently before Thunderstar, seeing that the kits are curling up to go to sleep again.
Stonekit:
Giving a toothy yawn, I peep my eyes open and spy papa returning. Still unsure of him, I don't say anything but just wave my short, stiff tail a little.
Mousekit:
When I see daddy come back, I jump up, despite mama's instruction to go to sleep. "Daddy!" I squeal, and bowl into him, hard as I can, which actually isn't that hard. I jump up onto my hindpaws and place my forepaws on my daddys chest. "Are you going to come sleepy with us, and mommy, daddy?" I ask hopefully.
