Kohana flattened her ears fearfully and his under her paws as the wolf jumped at her presence. She gazed down at her with a puzzled look, her tail ever so often swishing out gracefully behind her. The fae seemed at loss for words and Kohana peered out from in between her toes to gaze up at the fae. The fae had turned tail and was beginning to walk away from her. Panic overwhelmed Kohana and she leapt to her paws. True, she didn't know this fae, but what else could she do? She was panicked and heartbroken; she needed someone to look up to.
As soon as the fae was a reasonable distance away, Kohana began to hesitantly follow, her ears pulled back subconciously.

Yumiko trotted through the snowy woodland, his tail whisking and twitching behind him. As the moon cast a silver light onto the forest, it gave Yumiko some sort of vision as he passed through. The fox's large ears were up and perked, and he paused to sniff in. Though originally he had gone out for hunting, in the back of his mind Yumiko was subconciously looking for something other than food.
Fall.
Ah, yes. The fae ran through Yumiko's mind as he pushed forward, shielding himself from the last of the blizzard. He had gone out just to see if he could find his beloved Fall. He knew that it was wrong; with him being a fox and her being a wolf. And true, he knew that the Alpha would tear them both to shreds if he caught them. But to Yumiko, it was well worth it.
Suddenly, Yumiko froze and his ears shot up with excitement. Fall's scent hung in the air and his tail twitched behind him, following the fae's trail. Finally, the fox kit paused and swiveled his ears. To his left, he pinpointed the sound of pawsteps pattering against the forest floor and he lifted his pointed nose, inhaling. He almost cired aloud when he smelt Fall's scent and he brought his head back down, snapping his head to the left. After a brief moment, Yumiko shifted positions to face his left and trotted towards a small cluster of pine trees, his tail-tip quivering with excitement.
As Yumiko pushed through the snow-littered branches, he spotted the brown fae padding past. He was about to call out to her when he hesitated, narrowing his amber pools in puzzlement. He could tell Fall was about to cry; her ears and tail were down and her paws dragged as she walked. "Hey, Fall!" the fox kit cried out, trotting up to the distressed fae. "What's wrong?" He tilted his head in a confused manner and shifted from paw to paw, always keeping the questioned look about his fox-face.
