"I know this might not be the best time to ask, but I've been an apprentice for a long time, over 15 moons now, will I ever get my full medicine cat name?" Fallpaw asked.

Pantherleaf sighed deeply. "When you're ready. It's not a matter of time, but of skill."

Fallpaw held back a hiss.

Bluesoul nodded, her eyes closing. She tried to force them to stay open, but she was so tired and weak. Finally she gave in and fell asleep.

Frostfeather decided to go hunting.

Nightwhisper nodded, flicking his tail for her to follow him around the base of the biggest tree. "There should be some moss over on this side.."

Sparkpelt sighed softly, watching her fall asleep. He felt awful for the situation, grieving both for his dead kits and for his mate who had to deal with most of the sadness. He curled up by her side and nuzzled Bluesoul's side gently.

After nursing, Thunderkit curled up next to his mother and feel asleep.

She watched the little kits, and turned to curl into a sleeping position

Pantherleaf flicked her ear in annoyance. "Fallpaw, if you don't have anything useful to do, why don't you go check the elders for ticks?"

Sparkpelt woke about an hour later, seeing the sun sink down towards the horizon. He wondered if his little family should move to the nursery since it was warmer in there, but he also figured Bluesoul might still need her rest.

Pantherleaf glanced towards Sparkpelt. As if reading his mind, she mewed " She'll move to the nursery tomorrow."
