Bluetail blushed with his compliment, and moved back as he slid out from underneath her body. At the mention of swimming, her eyes lit up and her smile returned tenfold.

She followed Darkpelt to the water's edge, staying a little behind him as she watched her mate take strides to learn to swim. She had a feeling Darkpelt had a small fear of the water too. Bluetail watched him glance at her, and smiled in return.

"It feels cool against your pelt, doesn't it?" she voiced what was probably going through his mind.

She walked up to stand level with him, and she gently pushed the back of the foreleg whose paw was in the water a little deeper in with her own foreleg. Bluetail could feel his excitement and anxiety coming off him in waves, and she could see it shining in his yellow eyes. But she was there for him for support, and she hoped that he could slowly get over his fear.

"It's alright, I'm right here," she reassured him, "I love water, and I'm a strong swimmer,"

She moved a few pawsteps ahead of him so that all four of her paws were in the water to her ankles/heels. Bluetail turned to him and sent her mate a encouraging smile.

"I know you can do it," she said to him.

Pebblefrost was content enough to stay here forever and watch his mate happily with no worries. He loved her with all his heart and decided, no matter what, he'd always be there through thick and thin.

Shadowheart rested her head on her paws, then feeling her leg fur tickling her nose gently as a soft breeze came along, so she sneezed and opened her eyes. She was dazed for a moment, but then rested her head back on her paws with a gentle smile. Se felt the sun gaze down at them and she purred lightly, enjoying the few precious moments in life. "Thanks, Pebblefrost," she murmured quietly, closing her eyes once again.
