Nightshade was watching the clan silently from the shadows. He longed for clan life once more, but felt as if he could never live such a life because of all the past memories of him and his now dead mate.

Tigerstripe lifted her head, her green eyes flitting around the clan, she could hear something, and smell a cat, a lone cat. She stood up and stalked over, trying to figure out where it was.

Nightshade watched a she cat with curious eyes. He knew that he could very well be caught, but if he WAS caught and killed, he could finally be with Moonflower and his kits. His eyes took on a small bit of sadness just thinking about them.
