I followed the river downstream, the feel of water plish-plashing on my hooves. Due to my lowly rank in my "Herd" I was considered a loner and didnt have duties, so I could go wherever I wanted. I burst into a gallop, the wind buffeting my mane. Only about halfway down I saw two equids near a tree.

He nods to Siren; his mane, still not cooperating with him. He follows her over to the cluster of trees. He stood, standing guard. He could hear the faint howls of wolves out in the distance. He watched out towards the stream, his light lavender eyes trying hard to see as the light descends and the dark crept up. He gulped and hear faint sounds of splashing. His ears perked up ad he puffed out his chest. Protecting the younger filly.

Aeryn teps out of the shadows revealing his head to the older equid. He was a little shorter than her, even for his age. He cautiously takes a could steps forward. His ears flattening back. His light lavender eyes, gleaming as he lifts his head to look up at her. He stood at the tree line, his body revealed from the shadowy darkness of the trees. "Who are you?"
