Ashcloud shrank back, pressing against him. She somewhat recognized this cat, but no name came to mind. Her eyes widened and her heart began to race. She somewhat expected this greeting, fear racing through her veins now. She took a shaky breath, blue eyes looking the new cat over.

A handsome brown
tabby with long claws
and a scarred muzzle.

Pineclaw nodded to the deputy, the motion respectful but not deferential. "This is Ashcloud, a warrior formerly of StoneClan." he said, standing close to her. After moons alone, his friend looked more like a scrawny rogue than a warrior. But Pineclaw knew differently. "Another survivor from the fire. She was delayed in finding us, but now she seeks to join SunClan."

Lightpaw

A scruffy, white-patched
ginger tabby with dark
eyes.

Lightpaw looked down at the pawprints, sniffing them curiously. The only scent was cold stone. Still, many cats must have once walked here. She placed her paw in one of them--it seemed to fit perfectly. She couldn't help but shiver. This was strange.

Ashcloud stood a little, still fearful. She swallowed hard, preparing to speak. "I-I am Ashcloud. During the fire, a twoleg family trapped me. That's how I survived, and what took so long." she mewed quietly, almost in a whisper. She looked to Pineclaw for reasurrence. She needed to know this cat would not harm her.

Sweetkit gave a mew of boredom. She didn't want to run a course, even if she had already just set it up. The kit sat lonely by the apprentices den, hoping to catch Wolfpaw returning from duty. The apprentice often made curt remarks about her, calling her "That Kit, I'mma..." or "More like annoying!" She didn't mind, and loved her voice; despite her mother telling her Wolfpaw was mean, and the other apprentices like Falconpaw, she enjoyed being around them.
So when another cat looking like an apprentice was sitting around, the fluffy kit rumbled on over.
"Hi! I Sweetkit! You who?"

Mousepaw

A small but broad-
shouldered brown tabby
with amber eyes.

No, no, no! thought Mousepaw, feeling the branch giving way beneath her. She couldn't believe this was happening, after they'd gotten this far... her frantic thoughts were interrupted as the branch snapped completely and she went plummeting down. For an instant she felt weightless, then the ground rushed up to meet her. She gasped at the impact, her breath forced from her lungs.

Songpaw
Felling down, Songpaw tried to grip onto the bark but was tired to grip onto it. She hit the ground and whimpered quietly.
