soulpaw made his way out of the den, noting that coldpaw was nowhere to be seen. he shook it off as just him going out early, but what actually freaked him out a little was when he was coldpaws mentor looking for him. he bit his tongue to keep quite before stretching, and perking his ears before walking up to the leader and saying "may i go to the river to hunt for fish?". he was bored and he didn't know if the patrols had gone out.

The brown maine coon tabby woke up. and yawned, she padded out of the warrior's den.
she sniffed the air, a odd scent filling her nostrils. but she didn't notice it. she sat down and started
to lick her paw

Lilacpaw shook herhead. "I was wondering the same thing.." she trailed off, looking at the ground. She looked back up at her father, her face full of worry. "I was hoping you'd know." She sighed deeply and kicked at the ground. "Have you asked Aphidstar or Maplepetal? Maybe they've seen him..."

Poppykit woke up, yawning. Blossomkit wasn't around, but that was fine. There was a small commotion outside, but Poppykit ignored it, bouncing to her paws and padding out of the den cheerily. Windsong would be up soon anyway, and the kit wouldn't go far.

Aphidstar chuckled lightly at Blossomkit's words, but his voice had a slightly dark undertone. "I hope so. You never know what could happen to kits that sneak away from their mothers." Flicking his ears towards the apprentice's den, Aphidstar bid Blossomkit goodbye and padded over. "Coldpaw?" He mused, half to himself. "He's always trying so hard...maybe he went fishing. Soulpaw, you and me, let's check for my son, eh?" Whisking his furry tail in a jovial manner, the dark tabby tom tapped Soulpaw's shoulder.

Robinfeather awoke, body feeling heavy. His eyes glanced around his dimly lit den, and the nest next to him felt cold. He stretched out his crippled back leg, wincing with pain as he over stretched it. He got to his paws, noticing Lilypaw still asleep in his nest. He smiled proudly, his gaze shifting to the herb storage. Lilypaw was learning fast, and he was proud of him even if he never showed it face-to-face. Limping from the den, he spotted Echowhisper grooming herself near the warriors den. He limped over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a fish, crossing over to the she and setting it down.
"Good morning," He mewed, sitting next to her. "Have you seen your reclusive brother lately?" Their was a tinge of humor to his tone when he spoke of Batfang, but he flicked his ear and became serious once more as he noticed a few cats seem distressed. Firefeather specifically seemed nervous, but it was masked by his pride. Typical.

Breezefire padded out of her den, the cold air of the morning ruffling her fur and yawned. "Morning." she mumbled. She stretched around, then padded to her mate and kit. "Do you want to eat anything?" she asked them, looking at the rising sun. "You guys look pretty worried. What's up?" she asked them, still looking at the sun.
