Tundra flinched, but she relaxed after a couple seconds. Sighing, she rested her head on her paws. "Do you think that he would ever forgive me for attacking his sister? I didn't mean to, it was just because she had insulted me about my history, and I am sensible on that topic." Tundra asked, looking up at River now.

River shrugged. "Some wolves just don't forgive, like Bear. Some wolves just forget about it and move on, like me. Everyone is different. But for a fae like you I think he should be very forgiving. You are a very kind and compassionate wolf. You are unlike any wolf I've ever met in my whole life. You're.......different."

Tundra blushed. "Well, I guess you're right, not all wolves are like Bear." she said, sighing as she sat up, now taller than River. "I just don't like how wolves look at me. I'm taller than most of them, and the only wolf I ever looked up at is my father, until he turned my back on me and let my siblings starve to death. I hear people whispering, hearing them say I am just a gift from hell." she continued on. "Do you think that?" she asked River, a couple tears falling from her eyes.

Tundra blushed. "Well, I guess you're right, not all wolves are like Bear." she said, sighing as she sat up, now taller than River. "I just don't like how wolves look at me. I'm taller than most of them, and the only wolf I ever looked up at is my father, until he turned my back on me and let my siblings starve to death. I hear people whispering, hearing them say I am just a gift from hell." she continued on. "Do you think that?" she asked River, a couple tears falling from her eyes.

River shook his head frantically. "Of course not! I think you are a gift, but not from Hell. You're father was stupid to leave you. As for the others, let them whisper! They can say what they want! But just remember that no matter what, there is always at least one wolf out there that cares about you. Also, I think being tall is a good thing too. Being short would be terrible! But being tall is.... It's like you have more power." He tried to explain. He could never really get his word across the way he wanted to. It was another annoying submissive habit. This was probably the most he'd ever talked with one wolf.

Tundra looked at River, now looking at him with a little more interest, even warmth. "Thanks River. That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me." she said, wanting to stroke her tail down his flank but not building up the courage to do it. "I...I..." she didn't know what to say.

Glitch yawned and wanted to say hi to Tundra and River but didn't for some reason.

River looked up at her with his big amber eyes. "You what?" He asked gently. He wrapped his tail around his paws, seeing past her scars and her past. He looked at her and saw the beautiful wolf she once was, not the wolf she was now. He smiled.

Jace looked around camp wondering where Kite was. He was worried and howled for her.

Kites ears perked as she heard the howl from Jace. She walked out of the den and howled back to him softly.

Tundra looked into River's eyes, something turning on inside her, as if it had been off ever since Kaze clawed at her face. "Why don't we go for a walk?" she asked.
