"No need to worry about me!" He smiled, he's been having nightmares recently and has been getting less sleep. He stood from his spot and touched the apprentices noise with his tail and smiled brightly"anyway, want to go hunting?"

Leopardheart's eyes widened slightly at the sudden close contact and he cleared his throat. "I uhh..." he paused before looking at her back paw "your stepping on my tail.." he said after his eyes rested once more.

concern came over her, as she shook her head faintly. ashpaw liked to believe she knew splash better than anybody... he was lying.
"oh - alright then. as long as you're okay..." she purred quietly. as he stood up, her heart beat faster - she was surprised he didn't notice.
"sure. what area?" she asked, trying to hide the butterflies that fluttered in her stomach.

"Hmm how about... Anywhere you can find prey" he laughed and began walking out of the den and turned around, waiting for his apprentice to follow before moving once more.

she rolled her eyes, letting out a sarcastic laugh.
ashpaw followed him, her tail and head low - she was deep in thought. what did she feel for this cat? she loved him, of course, but in what way?
"so how are you? and she cats caught your eye?" she tried to chuckle as she walked beside him, even though the thought of him purring about another female hurt her.

Blueheart jumped off the tom, her tail wrapping around one of her legs. "S-Sorry..." she said, giving a small cough afterwards. Her fur puffed up for a second before resting.

"None caught my eye yet, unless you count" He said jokingly, though it was true didn't have a 'crush' he would if his own apprentice was a warrior.

"Its alright Blueheart" the deputy mewed sympathetically before he rested his tail on her shoulder"accidents happen" the fog that seemed to cover his personality a second ago had faded.

Blueheart was about to speak up before her ears perked quickly. "..... Yeah." she responded, her gaze flickering away from the tom.

"wait what?" she stuttered, feeling her heart beat faster. suddenly she panicked - what if she became a warrior late? what if a new female got his attention...

"Are you okay?" Leopardheart questioned Blueheart as he pulled his tail away from her. "Did I hurt you?"he asked concerned about her.

"It was a joke ashpaw, of course If you were a warrior I'd sure be the first one in line" he laughed, once again joking.
